For those without medals: Did you set one of your metaverse characters as "default"? It's necessary for the forum software to know which medals to show here (even when there's only one character registered). There is a faint button in character management to do it, easy to overlook.

Hey guys, just dropping in to say that I joined the fun! Submitted a nice game today, gigantic with all settings to "occasional" is manageable for my machine, don't know about upping it more though...
You need "close" relations for alliances. And yes, there's no direct way of leaving an alliance with a minor.

One other thing though: For some reason my metaverse scores don't add up correctly (yes, I know the formula): I submitted five games (since Feb 27), if I sum the scores up and divide by the square root of 5, I get 318,264 - the metaverse lists 286,400 though. Won't happen. It's because of the bending of space with HyperDrive that squares are used, you know?
For example: Social Production. Social Production could be automatically transferred to ship building when all planetary improvements are done. This would solve the potential issue of people's economy becoming crazy when all social projects are completed. And if there's no ship to be built, it would just go back to your treasury.

Got a big boost around 3 years from the end, with the all planets within 2 sectors event - got 50 new PQ11 planets out of that. I think you get a popup when your espionage efforts are high enough. This might be a bit stretched though for simple informations like declarations of war and the like.

I agree that tech trading is too easy in the game and should be made A LOT harder - at least on the high and very high difficulty levels. I'd definitely second an option to switch it off as well, a simple (working ) checkbox would be enough for me though.
