Discovered this at the moment, entry reads DescriptionHeader, if some could read. Too late to edit. Thanks to let me now that they're working on it.

mh thought I'd posted this in the bugsforum. edit and there it is - strange
Good changes in 1.2beta but the option to enhance the AI is still not visible. I found the following entries in screens.str [GameOptions] Game Options: [DisableTechTrading] Disable Tech Trading [BlindExploration] Blind Exploration [EnableMinorRaces] Disable Minor Races [AllowCPUIntensiveAlgorithms] Allow AI to use CPU-Intensive Algorithms [VictoryConditionDescriptionHeader] Ways to Win:\n [ResearchVictoryDescription] + Research
I deleted my prefs.ini file and when the game created it again as default the mysterious "cpu option" disappeared from prefs.ini too. There was such option in prefs.ini right after I updated to 1.11. Something is clearly wrong here The button seems not to be implemented yet. But if there is an option in prefs.ini has anyone tried a game with se
Strange... But is there any way to delete ships from a past game that you are unlikely to use again through the UI? I made a number of them in a past game that are sort of, well, dumb. Or any way to see these ships before you have the required tech? Sometimes I forget I designed a particularly cool ship and forget what techs I need to get there. <br/
The design will not be completely deleted if you have some existing ships of that design left in the game. The design actually will be restored if you delete the ships manually and then load that game again.
and there are alot of young adults here, although I am a bit surprised that there are some ppl in thier 40s playing guess some ppl are young at heart or something So my friend, you think you could give up those games ? whuawhuahwua *devilslaugh* 38 <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Smile.gif" border=0 ALIGN="a

When you're in the planet screen and get the approval details by mouseover, there is the point Native Abilities. But it's not exactly your racial bonus that you can see in the gouvernment screen. It's modified somehow, so it varies on different planets from 43% to 180% in my last game. I can't figure out what the modifier depends on. It's not something easy as PQ. So much too often I choose a large world to be pop planet and then it turns out to have a low Na
It's just a game. He said Jehovah, stone him, stone him
having to carefully change the slide to the minimum and back to one is a real pain specially because those slides don't work well. You know you can use the mousewheel with every slider ? That works very well and you can adjust it quite exactly.
Well, it is now available on the downloads section. I can say that this confusion filled up the forums, heh. Yes and the hint for german support over SDC is removed <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/BigSmile.gif" border=0 ALIGN=
Don't know if .027 is the final but it works as 1.1 ingame.
Now it says 1.10.027 and size 6.60 MB and it'll work because it's downloading something. Thanks for the update.
I don't think so. Paradox - the publisher for europe - is reponsible for that part. Yes I know, but SDC supports the german version therefore I assume the localized files must come back to Stardock. @manin problem I editet the registry entry "Version" from GC2 to 1.0x.01, so SDC will (try to) download 1.
I downloaded 1.10.12 from SC moments ago. Problem is that it downloaded the 1.0X.1-patch instead, downgrading my game from beta-4B to 1.0X.1, while at the same time SC says that I'm using 1.10.12. I did a quick check and I have lost all the new 'new game'-options so it isn't just a display-bug. Just so you know. <
You really have a high clock speed.
Thank you for reporting this. It will be fixed in the next update. Yes this is fixed, but components on core ships use much less space as they should, when you upgrade a ship I wrote it down here. Link
Native abilities don't add up To reproduce delete customrace7.raceconfig in your custom data folder. Start a new game with the Drath. Reset data in the ability panel and you'll see there are some % left. 25% military production for example. Start the game and in the Gouvernours screen you have 35% ? OK don't bother with these 10%. By spending 100% for 100% to military gives 32 shields. OK 24 + 35% = 32,4. Start the
I've choosen neutral in my games I've played yet. I like that automatic terraforming. But you sometimes get an event "The always been good race XY has turned to evil blabla" Could this happen to me too if I break treaties, attack my alliance partner, making "brutal" types of invasions or something like that ? Or is it, once choosen fixed ?
Don't know if it's been posted brefore. When you upgrade a ship design after you advanced in minuarization, and leaving the functional stuff on board the hull is resized but the hullmodifiers of the components aren't adjusted to the new hull size. When you MOVE one component then the components are resized too. my example Hullsize goes up from 172 to 184 (15% from 80) but used space stayed at 172 so I could add another
I got a CTD too when trying to buy a troop transporter from the Altarians just clicked on it an swoop. Haven't tried to reproduce it cause it was late in the evening and it was a game I startet with Beta1.
A german paradox site already exists : Link and there's german Civilization Site with a Subforum partially dedicated to GCII.
About auto-obsolete: It doesn't look like my change made it into the 1.10[b3].014 version. Next version will have it though. Thanks for info, hopefully assuming it to be released before Easter. @Zor<
Well obviously this isn't a helpful posting is it ?
