i'm right that money is the total of hammers+shields+research points?so it's different from civ4 where money and hammers are two different things?for analogy economy is the total of social, military and research production?

what is the equation between the population of a planet and the credits gained from taxation?for example if i have 1 billion people and my taxation is set at 50% i will get 0,5 billion credits?or the system works in adiffferent way?
i have downloaded stardock central and i have one question.my username account of stardock is marioflag i would know if using stardock central i must use the same username and password i use on the forum or when i registered to this site
in another post one beta player said that in combat the ship with more HP is the first to be attacked. As said in this post the system would be so easily exploitable creating ship with a lot of defense and HP and few weapons, and ships with low defense and HP but with very good weapons. so the combat system functions in this way or it's wrong?could not be better that in combat system the ship attacked is random?
i would that stardock implement as soon as this diplomacy option. it's very easy to understand that if a race (drengin) is in war with another race (torians) and attacks a freighter direct to a planet of (humans), it's not only an act of war against torians but it is too an attack against humans. i would that this dipolmacy option will be implemented as soon as.
are these the base alignment of all races or i am wrong? altarians=good humans=good torians=good arceans=neutral thalans=neutral iconians=neutral drath=neutral yor=evil korx=evil drengin=evil
i would know what are the effect when u decide to use money to destabilize another civilization.destabilization affects only morale or other aspects are involved?
i wonder if senate elections are influenced by some factors or depends only by morale. for example if i choose the war party and lose the last elections can i influence the elections in a way favourable to war party declaring war to another race; if a war is in a stalemate can it influence the rise of populists?if i build a lot of trade routes will it boost mercantile party strenght?summarizing rise of your opposition parties is random or depends from events and your way of play?
as in the title thread will you play first campaign or personalized game? i'm very undecided up to now.
there is in the game any option to boost planetary defense during an invasion. i don't mean planetary improvements as (omega defense),i mean options pickable during an invasion, attackers have (tidal waves, planetary bombardament, core fusion), but i don't know if defense have any.
when some of the bad events occur(race civil war, zealots which try to release a monster, terrorist civilization), it's only your task to face these events or other major races will collaborate (directly or indirectly) to resolve the issue? another question which interest me in case that a civil war break out inside a civilization(screenshot of arcean civil war) can you establish diplomatic relations with both factions? as example arcean rebels faction will be a minor race or another major
i have some questions about ship design.first of all can i design ships with more than one mass driver cannon, or missile launcher or beam cannon? for example can i build a gunship with 4-5 beam cannons?every cannon u add is cumulative to the final attack (1 beam cannon attack 6, 6 beam cannon =36 beam attack)?it is possible to design superships with all 3 types of attack and all types of defense maximized( designing a ship without weak points) or i have to choose between what defense or what at
i'm interested how much people will play their first game as humans. my first game will be surely as head of humanity but i'm very captivated by the korx. anyway i can't play my first game as an alien race.
on eb games site i found that this important retailer has shops in italy, norway, denmark, germany and so on. so if i preorder from eb games i will get european version or north american collector's edition. in eb games site it says that it has collector's edition but i'm not sure if european eb games shops receive CE or paradox version. any help?
i would know from stardock or gamma testers some useful information about campaign. how much scenarios there are in the campaign? all races are involved in the campaign or only human, drengin and dreadlords?u can research all tech tree and all ships during scenarios or there are limited choices for tech tree and ships?at the end and at the beginning of a scenario there are cinematic movies? thanks
i wonder if in the game you can see how much research points a technology needs to be discovered. in other words there will be a screen like in civ4 where u know the total cost of the technology and how much tech point u have acquired? it is very useful for research planning
i know that earth, mars, jupiter have their own shape and colors like in reality. i wonder if other homeworld planets have their own distinguished features for example in every game altaria is a blue planet, korx is orange with some rings and so on...
i would know if in gc2 there will be a paper or pdf manual. if american versions will be in paper european versions will be too?
in gc2 there is the option to see subtitles in the introduction and other ingame videos? i speak english very well but one thing is reading and translating english and another thing is hearing and translating. if it's american language it's a lot harder to understand because american pronounce is faster and harder to understand than native english.
In GC2 will i be able to build AWACS units? For example in GC1 there was the satellite drone with a good sensor range but it always became obsolete. So i'm wondering if u can build a unit with a great sensor range not obsolete in latest part of the game like AWACS which will help you uncover fog of war. for example a very good unit could uncover 2-4 sectors

Up to now is not clear if preordering gc2 from most famous retailers will get additional stuff. Could stardock definitely answer here if preordering gc2 from amazon.com, amazon.co.uk, bestbuy, walmart, play.com, ebgames and other important retailers will get this additional stuff? Thank You
