1 month ago i did my first order from amazon.com. in the order there were civilization 4 and 2 books. the order was to cost 148$, 134$ for the package and 14$ for transportation fees. this morning i went to my mail office to pick up the pack and i had a great surprise i had to pay 35euros for custom taxes!!!! WTF! considering that i was to preorder gc2 through amazon.com what happened today stopped me
in the trailer i have seen a video in which appeared drengin troopers, there is another screen in which there is the earth of 22th century. so i'm wondering if there are in the game video personalized for races; as example korx monopolists doing their affairs or iconian troops during a planet invasion or yor mechanized living.
as in the title thread i would know how trading influence points work. i know that every planet has influence points so when u trade IP every planet lose IP or u can choose what planet lose IP? UR BORDERS WILL BE INFLUENCED WHEN U SELL IP? I'M VERY CONFUSED ABOUT HOW WORKS TRADING IP. HELLO
i would know from beta testers or stardock if expansion race will be avoided or hindered. there is a manteinance system which will prevent an early expansion? for example i wouldn't want that more colony ship u build the best it is in early game, i think that would be better that colonization will be expensive and u need to strenghten the economy of your empire before u colonize every planet u want (it is more realistic too). civ4 system is very good managing it
tomorrow i will buy gc2 preordered version through amazon.com i would know what is added in preordered version. P.S.: Stardock u need to publish more this game, in italy there is no shop or retailer which sells or know this game so i have to buy it through amazon.com. in this way the game could lose some selling
i'm worried about the fact that all alien races have the map revealed while human not. Isn't it a great gap for humans? Is This gap counterbalanced by better advantages for humans in things like diplomacy, morale, research?
i would know if AI of different races will play in different way. for example drengin will be the most militaristic and will concentrate research on military while korx will build more freighter and will focus research on economy efficiency. korx for example could be more peaceful to strenghten their trade routes while drengin will crush everything against their interests. drath could spend more moneythan others to destabilize other races. So AI will play based on race chara
i wonder if there will be some differences while dealing with korx. they are the mercenaries so i'd wanna know if they are more willing than other races about commerce and if u can obtain from them everything u want if u pay them very well.
