I don't rely on heavy trade and see the privateer as a waste of time instead of producing for my military juggernaut. However, if it seems to work on routes after you build it. You can cancel routes and establish new ones. I have seen other posts stating that it may allow individual freighters getting knocked off, it still keeps the route from being destroyed.

May I interest you in some jagged glass objects for your offspring ?

I wish I knew what was going on under the hood. It's so unconceivable at times, the easiest thing to say other than WTF, is it must be random. Reduce or eliminate the need for Ctrl-N. This is my main point. "Fair Start" is very rare the first time the current galaxy generator is run, and normally takes several times to get something

Mods aren't going to make everyone happy. I see this mod as what Civ 4 has in terms of choosing 'game speed' building stuff faster. I don't know the percentages of who plays what but there's a lot of mods 'slowing the game down' out there. Marathon or Epic games. There's an option to speed up tech or slower as a slider when setting up the game but this affects production, in addition to affecting research rate by what labs produce instead of their cost. You can always get your

I agree thats why I called for support in a map script so modders can tweak and tell the computer how to build their own 'ideal' universe for conquests. Also while changing the range of things you can have other types of scripts.. like a 'Galactic Realism Mod for Stars and Planets' size and color does matter. Or 'increased' or 'more balanced' resource scripts. I think this would allow for lots of

It's definitely moddable. I've done it. I dont see minors as being KEY to anything but they do add some flavor. If you require assistance in modding I'd say wait for release of version 1.2 where we get some documentation and support on how its supposed to work, right now its a lot of trial and error though the mod folder works. Perhaps the limit of races

Well for starters we shouldn't have to use Ctrl-N. To top it off, you may end up with another random galaxy equally bad (or worse! ). If you metaverse game, rather than just do another map like it used to. It now forces you back to logging in/picking a race and going thru all that hassle/pain each time. In the modding forum I asked for map scripts, basically on the premise that if Stardock didn't want to invest much time on it, let a modder do it. (Look at Civ 4 and its map scr

Another theory is getting ahold of research mining bases. Each mining module is therefore a plus to your empires research ability.

Aha that's it. It must be it. They're all out to get Stardock. Get revenge the loss of revenue and jobs and projects.

First impression was OMG (or G-- D---) this person is too picky OR a troll. Overly so, this was a painful read. Granted, the OP had some problems with SDC and downloading, a rarity. However, It does suck to be you if it happens. I'm not sure the video tutorials will be of much worth. I'd rather play and be taught as I play. T

It may seem that from that limited view (the scope of events only or on a per event basis ) that Good gets "the shaft", Neutral either gets the shaft or nothing, and Evil gets bonuses. However when using the scope of the overall game, its intended to balance out. Evil gets short term bonuses and Good gets bonuses in the long term. Neutral gets some of both. I brought this issue up at least once, beta testing the game before the official release. Other GC1 veterans also beta testi

Nano-ripper is expensive. It has the cost of a high end weapon component. I've used ripper strategy before and more or less.. Now I just choose a path that my enemies dont have defenses to. I have a tech advantage and I use it.

No. I am sure it doesn't hurt Codecritter. It hurts those who can't enjoy the 3d like the rest of us.
