funniest thing is I catched a cold today. outside it is 30+ °C and I sweat like whoa, then I go into one of our PC-pools @ university where its only 18 °C. half hour later I have a sore throat. lol Drakh Mothership is now approved. I hope Stardock allows more ship styles in the future.
maybe a bug with the forum, dont know if anyone reported this already... I just wrote a long post for the B5-mod thread (which was top of the list right below the stickies when I started to write). anyway, when I sent my post it was added to a different thread (custom portaits or something...) which was not the top thread with the B5 thread right below it. it seems the post was directed to the #1 thread instead to the thread B5-mod... ^^
there is no real good solution for tiled textures. if the UVW map of the model fits inside the texture, but is just missplaced you can move it to the center/main texture-tile with the UVW-unwrap-menu. however if the UVW map is all over the place and you cannot isolate the sub-structures from each other there is not much you can do except maybe using clustering methodes of the unwrapper and/or then recreate the UVW map piece per piece for the whole model by hand. you can also cut the provided tex

dont rename textures. when you export from Max the texture name is written into the X-File. textured dont need to be named the same as the models...
wenn du exportierst wird der name der textur in die X-File mit reingeschrieben, ich weis also nicht, wieso das Spiel die Ursprungstextur verwenden sollte, wenn deine eigene Textur einen anderen Namen hat. auf jeden Fall gilt außerdem zu beachten, dass GC2 nicht alle Maps und Shadermöglichkeiten die Max bietet unterstützt (z.B. animierte Texturen oder auch nur tiled/mirrored Texturen)

I like that you will need specific techs in order to colonize worlds that are much different from your homeworld. that will hopefully make the beginning of a game more interesting (e.g. no more all-planet-colony-rush)

in one of the episodes of Season 2 where General Franklin lead a division of GROPOS (including Dodger, who had an affair with not-yet-so-bald Garibaldi) the troops were carried by a Nova Dreadnought. during the planetary assault they used some special ground attack vessels however. I will leave the Narn ships to Vorlon then for now and work on the Asimov and probable the Omega-X. can do the EA shuttle too, but as was said, it only carries like 20-30 people or so ^^

as a german, no. ^^ however germany vs ecuador starts tomorow 4 pm CET when most germans will still be @ work
updated all minbari ships now as well as the shadow ship (some corrections, addition of thumbnails etc). should be available in about a week depending how fast SD is.
Id also like to make a request to get the hull rotation going again. Without rotation seems wrong. you need to talk to SD then because the way the game auto-scales the size of the ship is getting screwed up when the ship is animated. it works in the shipyard and in combat, however animated with the exact same model size as the Omega is right no
I like all of the options, but multiplayer is my primary wish. would rock to play multiplayer in a B5 mod and dish it out Earth vs. Minbari and Narn vs. Centauri or all vs all
