I found I followed the 'red' tree which was the weapons, but then had no ships to put the weapons on Did u ever research larger hulls to put these weapons on?

Q1. yes Q2. Lets say a factory gives you 5 points of production per turn and you have 2 x %300 tiles and build 4 total factories. Here is the formula (300% x 5) + (300% x 5) + (5) + (5)) Q3. Research = yes. These buildings give points of production just like a factory As for Approval and Culture, these deal with percentages only. I am not %100 percent on the formula for these so I wont speculate Q4

The YOR have the Super-Ability (Super Isolationists) that anyone who moves through their space has their speed droped by 2 (in sand box mode). It sounds like it is affecting the campaign also. Maybe the ability is beefed up for the campaign. Take a look and see if your speed is only dropping when in their space.

1. yes, your fleet is ALWAYS only as fast as your slowest ship 2. it will add more points per turn toward a tech your are researching. Say a tech costs 500 research points, if you change your focus away from military or social to research and get 5 more of those sheilds things u see for that particular planet, u earn 5 points more per turn toward said research 3. are these the ships u start with? Thanx. I have noticed in battles with the same EXACT ships head to head in early game I have always won. When viewing the damage it seam mine was getting +1 and I dont remember seeing any zeros

I have never used War Profiteering before but now I wanna try it! A big part of my strategy when I play 'evil' races is to have the minor civs attack the crap out one race at a time then I clean up when they are weak. I mad now that I realize I could have been making manoy from it. War Profiteering, hmmmmm. Is that a Drath tech? It sounds like it.

Thanx for all the replies to my post. I personally like tech trading on and will keep it that way. As far as I'm concerned if a race has a unique tech.....why not trade it if the price is right. Isn't that the way even our own planet works....sell shit to the highest bidder? I really dont care about the inner workings, or the mathematical, or the programming nuances of this engine.
