I can't use that galactopedia thing until I get the full game although it does look very useful.

what other benefits for good and evil are there, besides the tech stuff, the armor for good side, weapons for the evil side. and I thought the Neutral guys also got some weapons/armor? sounds like Neutral is pretty much the best choice to use...
yea, sounds like more pirates would be nice, but it also sounds like they are rather overpowered. They shouldn't be able to take on a HUGE battleship with black hole shooting tech weapons, but they should have a chance to get away.
yea, but the anomalies get sucked up FAST and so the survey ship is probably better converted to an exploration ship (probably a fast one) or some warship like Meglobob said.
nice. what the heck is the hullpiece in the front? it might be a Torian or Yor hull because those aren't shown in the demo.
Me: "They're only pixels." Son: "But *these* pixels deserve to die!" lol do you and your kids play MP games together? just for fun of course altho
I dunno about decals, they would be hard to see unless you are in shipbuilder mode and on the gamescreen, they'd be difficult to impossible to see on smaller hulls, on large and huge ships, it might be easier. but yea, having custom color stuff sounds cool although I'm ok with the current color schemes.
22, but will be 23 in a few weeks on June 2nd man, I can't wait until summer vacation starts and this hard college math class is over!! May is such a busy month... and there are alot of young adults here, although I am a bit surprised that there are some ppl in thier 40s playing <img src="http
really cool TheLawyer although, I think the prongs on your Millenium Falcon are a little long because from what I remember, the prongs were a bit shorter. as for the colors, in the demo I find that I'm preferring a copper trim and black hull, sometimes black trim and copper hull. That color scheme looks especially cool on the drengin hulls <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_D
thats a um, strange color scheme. thats with Kryo's shipbuilder mod isn't it?
Don't Waste your Money. The extra ship jewlery sounds cool but most of it is a waste (no saucers or anything useful) except that they do give you a "Sensor/deflector dish" to use. I don't think that is worth the extra money. like I said, the extra ship stuff is available for download anyway, which is free....
I have seen the occasional Blue star in the Demo, those don't usually have habitable planets though. so in the full game, yellow/red/orange stars have habitable planets while the green and purple stars don't? just clearing it up.
yea, but you can now download the special ship hulls and jewlery now since its too late to get the collectors edition by now.
yea, probably somewhere around ion drive or a tech or two above.
ok, thanks man
can I have an answer to my question about designing the colony ships? because from what I've heard around here, the core ships are kind of sucky and its suggested you design your own rather than use the core ships.
a question here, I'm doing the demo atm, but will get the game in a few weeks for my B-Day, so it doesn't hurt to pick up a few strategies now. my question is, when I start, since you don't want to use the core ships, should I buld colony ships with one or two colony modules?
when you custom build ships, they do stack, and you're right, that core colony ship does NOT stack, I've never noticed that before.
so colony pods don't stack? didn't know that. I'll have to check that out in the demo (getting the game in a few weeks on my B-Day)
kewll! did you use the Kryo's ship designer mod for that?
in general, I think the micromanagement of planets needs to be toned down a little. although I am doing the demo and not experiencing the latest stuff.
heres one: even though I'm doing the demo atrm and don't know if its different in the game, there needs to be a way to tell the difference between planets and ships on the minimap because they are symbolized both by a triangle. and heres one annoyance, the turn button is too darn close to the minimap because if you try to click the bottom corner of the minimap, its easy to accidentially click the turn button <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Tongue.gif" b
Some are kinda origional like Kwilas, or Cordelia (VERY similar to Corellia). you forgot Hoth! I haven't seen that one yet in the demo, I guess because there is a limited set of names, maybe 20 or something because of the limited map I can do in the demo, so the names get repeated over and over.
hmm, yea, in the demo when I picked lucky, I seemed to have more planet events when I colonize planets.
sounds more like a joke to me than a glitch, the game is full of various jokes and puns. Although the description does seem to be typoed or something. or maybe its meant to be like that and be funny...
