Does this work for ToA? I would like to use it for the full expansion, but I'm not sure if it's compatible yet.

I know there is a debug thing that is used to help with the crashes, but I forget how to get it. Anyways, I was trying to get a homeworld with good bonuses and kept redoing the Torians. The first time it crashed it did it after two starts. After the CTD I started again and it went fine the first time, but the second time through it crashes. They both crashed right on the screen where you choose the race. I started the game up from the Impulse prog
yea, it was released yesterday. You should be able to get it through SDC if you have an internet connection on the comp that you play the game on.
download the latest patch, they have been toned down, I think they have been anyways. Not sure if thier logistics was toned down or not, but theres a possibility that what you are seeing is a bug if that was with the latest patch.
yea the AI still needs tweaking in places, although the pirates mega event should be toned down now.
they did say that they were changing the importance value on various techs for the AI (I assume this is for research and not diplomacy), but nothing specific for that particular one. It may also depend on the difficulty level you are using.
well ok, didn't hurt to try though. I wonder what is going on with all those no files matching mask thing.
hmm, do you have your latest AMD dual core update? I know there are some issues with the AMD dual core X2 processors, but not sure if it applies in your case. As far as customer support, the ticket thing tends to be somewhat slow, so you'll get help sooner by posting on the forums or asking around in Stardock central (IRC chat).
yea those asteroid ships do look pretty cool also, how did you get those slits in some of the asteroids (they are visible on the colony ship and troop carrier)? is it just one of the textures on them?
+ FIX: Bug in improvement code that was interfering with projects that were not upgrades completing properly (including terraforming imps). This is something that a lot of people have been complaining about. ok cool, any idea how the heck that got there? it is a bit of a mystery how that got in because someone had said that it wasn't there in the last beta and apparently some people were and some weren't getting the bug.
Decreased spacing between stars so that more stars can be fit on a given map (which means more planets as well) might cause problems on smaller maps where abundant stars is set, but we'll see. Anyways, all those changes look great that pirates mega event did need to be toned down. I don't mind having a challenge with that mega event, but would like at le
the purple/pink stars (I guess it depends on the monitor, I always see the purple stars as a deep violet color) are suppoused to be VERY rare, and always have been in the game. Its entirely possible to go several games without seeing one, even on a huge map. I have seen them occasionally, although I don't know the ratio of the rarity.
maybe if you could submit a debug err from DA, we could help you figure it out.
guys, Cari and the other devs are working on it, but nobody knows when its gonna be released. I want this bug fixed as bad as you guys, but just gotta wait.
one thing they are missing is that there isn't a trolling option for the OP rating, since I think the OP of that lame game thread was trolling. Yes one is entitled to thier opinion, but no need to be insulting about it.
sounds kind of like an old RTS game called warbreeds or something.
SD is working on a fix for this, just gotta be patient.
is this in DA and what was the enemy that just stomped you? I'm asking because there are differences in DA and DL.
1) When your space miner is on the same tile as one of your mining bases, you can't access the base to change assignment unless you move your miner off of the tile. I think others have seen this before. might be related to the autopilot bug where they don't automatically build. 2) I haven't seen others note this. Every now and then when I click on one of my planets, it shows a foreign trade ship along with my planet in
I agree, it is rather stupid when they are too difficult to beat, they are actually stronger than the normal pirates that sometimes appear, at least I think they are.
Am I just imagining this or in earlier versions were you able to put multiple construction modules on a ship. I'm pretty sure that used to be an option, I miss that. Or am I just making stuff up. It would be convenient to be able to do that so that you could quickly set up a military star base when at war using cargo hulls with sensors (for scouting) and multiple construction modules. Be pretty scary to see the AI do as well. you may have seen some ship
well I have an older vid card, which is probably the main reason.
I dont use it anymore. Gives wierd results like changing my opponent setups and sometimes the rules get changed. It really shouldn't be doing that to you. Besides, going all the way back to the main menu to start a new game and going through all that and then wait for it to load for 5 minutes is too long for me. I use ctrl N just fine. it just takes a couple of minutes for the new game to load up. Try waiting a couple of minutes because it will
