large galaxy, 5 oppononts, maso. * some AI planets had like 6 or 7 farms on it with a max pop of 41B. * while at war with the alterian, there approval was 1%, all planets. * while at war with the alterian, they said i parket ships outside there planets, they didn't liked it and took action, but we were already in war. thats what i got from my last game. i also notice the AI builds allot of factory's, allot more than before, good or not? to me it
mystic
When you do the Windows + D function to flip to windows screen and than want to return to DA, it crashes. just thought i'd tell you guys
This weekend i wanted to play a nearly bugfree game, so i started a new dreadlords map, and found several bugs in them. for one i never saw any declarations on me, when i looked at the relations i found out i was suddenly at war with 6 out of the 9 AI's, i declared on just 1, that i am sure of. Also the grid looked buggy but that could be the videocard on the laptop. Anyway, could this be caused by the fact DA is installed on the computer?
also, don't forget, i read that the IA hasn't been worked on much YET for DA, that is coming now. so they will be better.
yea happend to me to, pretty early in the game at a point wars start to break out, the yor immediatly surrendered to the korx, it was the thalan who invaded them though. i believe if the IA doesn't have an alliance or close or friendly relationship it will surrender to there attackers.
imo they shouldn\t trade planets at all.
Toxic world would have a medical bonus ,barren world could have a soldiering bonus or anything like that. Maybe the water world would contain some ruins for a research bonus ,barren world for a manufactering bonus. neh, i don't think that would be nice, you will get those planets anyway cause you want the space to build on, and so automaticly yo
The AI took a PG 3 planet and had started to build it. it was PG 8 after they got a few extra tiles. when i invaded it it was PG 12, i had terraformer already, but i had like 18 tiles, not the 12 that i was supposed to have. either the tile number is wrong, or the PG name is wrong. just the 2 don\t match.
your right zydor, however the original poster doesn't want to find the bugs it seems, he wants to play the game. if he wants to do that and not lose time, play small games.

does anybody ever read this stuff? or should i stop this?
yae but the drengin one is really overpowered. i declared war on a minor race, declared peace, war, peace, war , peace. i was instantly the strongest, my income went from + to -8000 bc/turn and i had like thousands of ships. i could all sell them and make tons of money to. its to much of an exploit.
to the original poster: i wouldn't play very long games with DA yet, just normal games that just last a few hours, no gigantic field or anything. changes a bug will ruin it are pretty fair, and changes of a new update coming out also. also, even though you have DA installed, you should be able to just play galciv 2 without DA.
* a new adviser, to be able to send 1 certain type of ship to a certain point, so with the same name or something.
Ok, i have a few things that i would like to see in DA, most are small things, and some or most have been discussed here before. * when i make a fleet, plz make it so that the newly created fleet is also auto selected. * when i launch a ship from a planet, plz make it auto selected. * i love the new low PG planets, they are useless at the start of the game (only PG 1 or 2), but after you have all the terraform techs it can turn into a PG 12+ planet and become very use
+ CHANGE: Ability points available has been temporarily reduced from 10 to 5 (until we can balance this a little more) from the changelog of the latest DA update.
i believe you always have a capital, i know it was in 1.3 for sure. if you take over a capital he will move his capital to a new planet, otherwise you would have 2 capitals and he would have 0.
Ok, this needs a bit of balancing the drengin empire special ability (both of them) aren't working like they should the first is to extort other races for tech or money, well i was the second strongest but couldn't get anything out of them. second, when you attack or get attacked you get a army on your side for free. to bad they are only speed 3 (to slow). but also, i had a
well ,just finished starting a level, some things could use a lookie into it. * i was playing as the drengin empire, (not a custom) but the drengin was also in my game, so there were 2 drengin empires. * the yor gave up 1 turn after they got declared on. * i was playing as the drengin, and they got the super ability that they receive minions when they get declared on. well i did receive them, but i don't want them. i got declared on and suddenly my economy is shot
well i didn't get that message, but it did crash on me when quitting beta 1a release.
If you stay in the middle both the others will be 2500 i believe you will always lean towards good or evil, never exactly in the middle. i have never seen both of them being 2500.
i think something like this really should be implanted, i never use constructors simply cause its so annoying, i like the idea of having more than 1 constructor modules, make it so that the price will be high so that you cannot make them at the start of the level due to pricing. also with more large hulls and minitarisation level goes up you can add more constructor modules to 1 hull, wich would make micromanagment in the later part of the game go down a bit, wich is great.
i would like to have this implented. at your adviser screen you can select were all ships from 1 rally point have to go, all newly created ships and what ships should be builded. i would like to add a fourth ability to it, and that is to select a certain ship (all ships with the same name for instance) and be able to send them to 1 spot. maybe with a box that says that also ships that are currently docked to go to that spot. why: well like if i am creating allot of typ
more time has been spent on the Epic Generator than was spent on, for instance, the entire AI of GalCiv II auch, even though i like the epic generator, without a worthy IA the game is nearly worthless (like most games though). One of the things that made galciv so great is the IA that was pretty good. i've seen far to many game
well in my latest game the economic treaty would give you 600 bc per week, i would give allot for that to.
