I completed the siege mission with the following tactic. I did not colonize any planets just made a trail of star bases so I could reach the Drengi planet. Quickly wiped out the defences and sended in the troops. It´s tough mission, just don´t start to fight DL.

What about fixing the "music volume resetting to maximum after restarting the game" bug? Hey SevenSwords, I thought this was due to my crappy integrated sound card. Minor but annoying thing, should be easy to fix also?

Yes No Tech Trading is good. I don´t like going to diplomacy screen everytime I research a tech. Looking how SD is supporting the game, it would be no suprise if we saw a blue print option aswell.
I had random crashes too. But 3D card driver update and incresing my Virtual Memory to 2g solved all CTD. Have your tryed these?

Really wan´t some threatning comments in the diplomacy like "Your 20 ships next to my planet does NOT please me" I mean if AI can threat us with will, I wish we could do the same to them. Now that I think of it, none of the strategy games I have played has this option, makes you wonder.

No the freighter is used once you make a trade route. Want 7 routes, build 7 freighters. You can have only one trade route to one planet. here are some stardock answers: Trade route income is effected by.... -length of the route -your base Trade ability -how far the ship is from it's homeplanet (more money as you get closer to the destination) -if there are Starbases with Trade modules on them along
Why did not anybody think of this earlier! Great Idea! But I suspect there might be some problems to this later in the game. Sounds like real performance killer, but lets see what SD thinks.

It´s always stupid to compare real world with fantasy scifi like GC2 but then again, no modern nation in the world can sustain itself without trade So yes I would consider trading really important, and it´s important to renew your old trade routes with more lucrative ones later in the game.

Bad power sources can also make system reboot randomly, but I would check the ram first.
Well being a dictator you only have to worry about your approval being over 50% or so, as long as it does not go into red colour. If you have other form of goverment the approval becomes much more important. Depending on your political party you get nice boost into abilities and also econimical boost. BSOD definetly sounds more like a Hardware error than software bug. I have had plenty of CTD with CG2 but updating drivers , game and setting virtual memory to 2g fixed it for me. I suggest you run memtest Link , let it go around 500-800% and see if any errors pop up, if do its your memory at faul most likely. Is your system stable at other games or is it just GC2 that keeps on crashing.

Read and comprehended it also I did hunt for destabilization slider for awhile to realise it was not implemented on the game. Hopefully manual will get a update job aswell.
