I recently found the civilization managers Colonies tab which is really great. Even greater would be if I could assign Waypoints for planets in that menu. Thanks

Noticed this one too. I would like to stick in "user" tab all the time, but while upgrading it tends to throw you back into "all" tab. Or was it while obsoleting, anyways let me stay on my selected tab

Not a glitch but definetly worth fixing. Is there time to fix the Ability choosing screen? Bit confusing when the Race ability bonuses can be switched OFF and not getting any points from it etc. Just confusing at the moment, maybe racial abilities could be shown in different colour and be unmodifiable?
@ #2 That suggestion number 8 would be nice. The one UI change I would like to see is upgrading. It´s very frustrating at times to hunt for the upgrade button. Braking up fleets etc, you know the drill

Yes in my last game I again came to a conclusion how lacking this games UI can be. But it´s too good game to miss even if the UI is terrible at times. SD hopefully continues to improve the UI
Brad yes your forums are Evil And the main site is too, atleast for FireFox users. Iam logged in but everytime I come to the site again firefox pops up the window "pls enter your password" to auto fill username & password. No other site does this, well thats a minor annoyance. I would probably buy ship pack if it came out, seeing how good support
Completely agree on this one. Not only is research screen hard to use, but it does not give enough info. I have been gaming for awhile, but still cannot remember every new thing what a tech brings. So there is alot of back and forth viewing for me
Yes noticed this from the beginning. Why not make racial specific bonuses in different colour and perhaps even unremovable?
I have been having these few ship designer problems with all 1.1 betas: 1. When I first load the game and for the first time create new design or upgrade ship this happens. Gah enabling "remove functional components" option still removes everything from Core ships, when using upgrade. Is this a feature or bug? Must be feature, since it´s been there since the first beta it was introduced.

Ok so I have the old issue still. When I upgrade Core ships it strips em down fully leaving only the hull if I have the "remove only functional components" option enabled. Witht this option disabled everything stays on Core ships as should be. Could somebody confirm if this is intended thing or a glitch? Driving me nuts here
Could you please Frogboy tune up the constructor Star Base zone. It´s way too hard to see. Playing humans with defaul colours and I have real troubles spotting the spehere. Thanks. Could be easily my monitor settings too, but I have seen other people asking for the same thing. Does not need to be adjusted much, just a bit. Pretty please for this one. Another "glitch" I found and maybe reported alrdy. But in Beta 3 when you select a AI ship it shows its destination and autopilot line. Iam was with Korx and select their ship and I see where that ship is going. Maybe a new spying feature?
When you update Core ship designs it strips em down fully even with "remove only functional components" setting enabled. I noticed this one too. In latest beta3 if you upgrade core designs it strips em down fully. But if you disable the option "remove components what ever" it actually keeps all the stuff. So at the moment it´s keep all or lose all with Core ship upgrade. Iam glad this is beta, imagine the pain if something like this would occur in release version!
I have wrote several times about the very same subject, but nobody gave support then. I think Sentry should be true Sleep mode. The guard mode should be working as it is, wake up when enemy on sight.
The new possibility of upgrading Core ships is wonderful but bit buggy. If you upgrade a Core ship it strips down the extras too If you enable the option "do not remove function items from ship" everything stays on ship as it should.

Depends largely on what kinda games are you playing. I started with small/medium galaxies with few opponents. It did not take long to get the hang of things now I play on tough , large maps against 5-6 opponents. And I usually manage to win. Practice practice
I also have been trying to get a perfect setting going on, but have not yet succeeded. Maybe somebody could post good galaxy settings for all map sizes
