In Stardock Central, please go under Tools / Settings and check the option to prompt if there is a Stardock Central beta update. Restart SDC. It'll prompt to update, let it and let it restart SDC again. Try installing with that, which has some additional debugging for the download verification.

Scan or take a picture of the receipt and/or CD's with a cell phone or something and send that to [email protected] with an explanation. They can fix you up.
The Sun Crusher handled things like GalCiv Terror Stars. Well, at least in the end results. I think it went for explosion rather than TS implosion. Bueller? Bueller? Kris (who has a few SG/SGA episodes to get to on the tivo yet - Hallowed are the Ori and @#$%#$! you BSG for making us wait until October)
Their only being 1 serial number on the European English version was Paradox's oversight. We've got a webpage specifically to issue you one. Short of coming to your house with a new sticker, that's pretty good.
Your preorder was for the electronic version, which is enabled and ready in your account. If you would like to order a physical box as well, sales can help you out.
It's [email protected]. I've seen 2 other threads where people were saying it's activation@. And manually emailed ones have to be processed by support during working hours.
And/or run 'galciv2.exe w' to run it in a window and then you can set the processor affinity if Alt-Tab isn't happy for you.
If you're logged into the website (are your cookies letting you logon?), you don't have to reenter anything.
Email a copy to [email protected] and if I get it in the next hour or so, I'll try and do it tonight. And it's [email protected] generally, not activation.
Please check that you aren't typing the letter O where it should be the number 0 or the like. If you are still having trouble, email the code to [email protected] and I'll take a look.
I'm not personally emailing you when there's a link right on the top of the Downloads page at left. "Bought your game in Europe? Click here ." Paradox can also direct you. You may email me via kwilas at stardock.com if you have further problems past that point.
7 at the local Best Buy this morning. Top of the shelf, right in eye-line.
I don't think you can alter it. And technically, we're trying to follow Microsoft's guidelines here for user-specific data.
You will be missing some of the graphical bits as the GF2 can't support them (though there have been links to some sort of driver-fakeout app that would try to let DirectX do some of them in software). I wouldn't encourage playing on the larger maps, but you should be able to run fine. Just slower.
1.0X.009 is it.
All current serials for updates and/or the CE codes should allow you access to the download that'll enable the in-game/downloaded CE content. You will need the 1.0D1 or 1.0X (today) updates installed as well.
The 1.0X full standalone update will update everything to the latest version, regardless of what's installed. As noted above, you are going to lose your custom-designed ships from previous versions. One update to bind them all...
What is the Version value at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\DirectX (use regedit.exe)? It should be 4.09.00.0903 or .0904.
What link is it trying to go to? Use this: sdc.stardock.com/sdcentral_setup.exe
You need to backup and restore the modules. When it does the "all the app" bit, it's not clever enough to do the registry keys to let it know the modules are there. Which we should probably adjust for modules to account for that better...
We think we've got the resume stuff happier now. Change made to the servers. If that is not the case for you after 6pm EST Thursday, please email [email protected] and I'll give you a debug build so we can try and narrow things down. An alternative is to use the US - 4 server in the SDC listing, which has been modified for resuming in another fashion as well. Trying to figure out your issue, Drew3077. Please em
I single space after .'s when I write or edit. So if you find any doubles, someone edited them other than me. I did not do final manual edits though. As for the Vista bit... we'll get that fixed up when the OS ships...
The pre-orders were processed sequentially in batches today. As of about 7pm EST, they should all be processed and you should have emails. If you do not, please visit stardock.com/support and enter your email address there, see if appears. Check that it was the email address you ordered under. And then email [email protected] so we can look into it. I know there were some failures for various reasons (invalid info, cc b
Updates past that initial CD are liable to be a different story. That said, the activation will generate a code you can email to have it activated on other machines. And once it's activated, so long as you have the sig.bin for that machine (and don't reinstall your OS), you're set. If you want the game on your home machine, your work machine, the laptop, the tablet pc, and the PC you're "storing" at your cousin's house, nothing's going to say "BOO". When your serial is on a
