Can I buy collector's edition now? (Post Release)

If so, how and where?

Pretty self-explanitory, I'm interested in buying the collector's edition, but nobody around me seems to have it, period, even online shops don't seem to have it. I really want this game, but I also really want the collector's edition extra goodies. Am I out of luck, or is there a glimmer of hope for even a wretch like me?

Stardock is still selling the Collector's Edition direct and WalMart (US) is selling the CE version exclusively at retail.

Also, if you get it from a store who only JUST got it in stock, especially a store like EB or GS, then it will be considered a first-edition print run which StarDock has graciously said they will accept as a CE box as well, due to the mix-up with the shipping and all that crap, which wasn't their fault anyway. (Glares at TAKE-TWO...)

Then all you do is get home, install the game, register your serial # on this site and download the 'enable CE Content program' from the Downloads area, go into the game's shipbuilder and look for CE jewelry for your ship to know whether or not you have it installed.

All current serials for updates and/or the CE codes should allow you access to the download that'll enable the in-game/downloaded CE content. You will need the 1.0D1 or 1.0X (today) updates installed as well.
