Hi.
1- By sector i guess you mean tile? Then no do not place the Manu Cap on there, it does not give any points to industry just the overall bonus. Place a factory on the bonus tile.
2- Really depends on too many variables for me or anyone to give you a definative answer. Try not to use too many leases, and if you do, go with the longest lease. I will at times buy a few colony ships on long lease and maybe diplomatic translators as well to ensure i get them first.
3- Again depends on too many things. I tend to cue up the planets as i want them but it depends on game play and style. Building over smething later on is not a big issue. if you have spare tiles, fill them with econ structures for more BC untill you decide what to do with that tile.
4- Not sure what you mean here but, if you have may ships and you are trying to cate a specific one press F1 and select ships then scroll for the ship type. Or click Find till the desired ship comes into view.
5- Star? You mean planet? Again, far too many ways of doing this based on your style, victory condition, strategy, difficulty level...etc. A reasonable way to go though would be to get a morale structure and a farm built early on and then utilize any bonus tiles on that planet (not the 300% food ones though. Treat thek like the plague) then fill out with desired factories, labs or econ. If in doubt go with econ, you can always use more BC and build over them as you adjust your strat.
You will find there is no right way of doing any of the above and will adjust as your experiance and style changes and grows.
Hope some of that helps.
