I havn't seen this bug reported yet, but I may have missed it.
When limiting the victory conditions in the game, the AI seems to get confused about what is allowed. I just tested this with the latest beta 6c and the problem still exists. When disabling everything but Alliance and of course Conquest (since you can't disable it, right?), the AI disables everything but Research and the flag (Influence?).
This results in another bug. The AI does not build much millitary if at all. Even if conquest victory is not allowed, should they not choose to defend themselves anyway? Disallowing conquest victory does not mean that one cannot attack another. Even after buliding a large military and the other races begining to give me donations due to my might, they still do not start upping their military research/production.
I believe from a few quick experiments that the victory conditions chosen when starting a game do not align or match those that the AI uses. For example, toggling it seems that influence always toggles conquest for the AI rather than influence.
Anyone else encountering this?
