Am I the only one with the problem?

I have the sound volume sliders at their default value (like I had in DA), which gives me a nice and pleasant interface feedback. However, as soon as I enter combat, my eardrums get busted. The sound effects are loud enough that I can FEEL my subwoofer. If I turn the effect volume down so that I can listen to battles without going deaf, I can't hear any other sound effect (clicks etc.).

This problem is the same that some people (me included) always had with ground combat: I skipped the animation not because it was ugly, but because it was far too loud.
