crash upgrading ships/using templates

sorry if this has been posted already:

drengin: upgrading transport and/or using transport template resulted in a ctd
arcaean: using battle axe template resulted in ctd

smartexception sent (to support@stardock - sorry but program asked for that) still have debug if interested.
