- clarification: posting games to the metaverse: What is a post?
Can we post more than one game per month to the metaverse and submit the best by posting to the thread or are we limited to sending one game/month to the metaverse for our MVL character?
You can submit as many games to your character as you want. The one you say is your submission to the MVL is the one that counts for your team.
- Any game submitted in the submission thread is counted - if it has the wrong settings you get less points. Games of the wrong kind can not be counted as fastest/highest score - neither individually nor as part of a team average. They are just left out of that. (Just imagine mumble submitting a 800k game with the wrong settings: That would be -1 for wrong kind of victory, +1 for highest score, +2 for highest team score -->four credits for the wrong game!)
I thought it was this already like this. Games of the wrong settings do not apply for bonus points. They just get a +1 submission score not any of the fastest or highest score BPs.
- clear rules for newcomers in the middle of a round: How are 5th and 6th players treated (it is stated in the threads somewhere - but it must be crystal clear to newcomers who may not be willing to read all of our drivel).
Its not as much the 5th and 6th players as their time of arrival but their performance. It doesn't matter if you're the newest addition to the league(TheDoomBringer or Drengin or Dystopic), what matters is your score.
The player whose game is of the lowest score is "dropped". Their game still counts for team averages but they dont get any MVL points. Not even the submission +2.
This part is still under discussion(I think), that if the player with the lowest score manages to pull off a 1 year win while his score was 10,000. The 2nd lowest score in the 5 or 6 man team is 15,000 but is a 3 year win. And that player acheived the fastest time of, say, Technology win in the league. But since that player's game is dropped, he can't be eligible to recieve those bonus points for the fastest "Beyond Mortality" game.
Hope this clears it up.
