i just got back into gcii, this is the first i've really played any released version. so at this point i'm still learning to play rather than learning to mod, but there's a few things that i wonder whether they're possible:

1) changing the ship selector cursor. when i'm zoomed way out, i can't see which planet or ship is selected. i'd prefer if it were a static size, and really prefer if it were a bright color.

2) the tech screen layout. i understand it's getting reworked in the expansion, which is good... if you get the expansion. i play on a 1920x1200 screen and there is soooo much wasted space. i can see how it would work on my laptop however.

3) make the launch button select the dang launched craft. so annoying to launch a colony ship, send it to a planet, then realize that i in fact pulled my survey vessel from the edge of the galaxy.

a simple yes or no will suffice; if anyone goes into detail i'll bookmark it and come back when i'm ready to jump in.

at this point all i'm trying to do is get a feel for what is moddable and what isn't
