I am pretty sure this has never been done before but wanted to get some feed back from others and perhaps put a bug in the ear of the devs. I think we all enjoyed the after action reports we were getting early on. I also think that most of us play this and other games like it for the "role playing" or imagination aspect of the game. I work for a hospital information company that has a software application suited for physician charting. Essentially, as the physician checks off certian actions and options while while he or she talks with the patient and the program will create the charting narrative in the system based on his entries. I would absolutely love if this game or any other like it could take key actions and events during the game and create a narrative (with all of the sci-fi humor etc that we love to read in the game now) after action report that could be generated at the games end. This narrative could be in .txt or word or what ever and then saved. Then it could be uploaded to StarDock and shared with others. Let's be honest, what is better than playing the game other than sharing our victories and defeats with others...that's half the fun. BTW, I know people could probably go to the effort of manually creating such a report but most do not have the writing skills or the time to do so.
I know this is very much pie in the sky stuff but game features greater and more involved than this had to start somewhere.
Thought?
