I was wondering if it ws possible to chain events in the game. For Example:
A race of aliens calling themselves The Vorl has contacted you asking help in the form of 2000bc.
option:
a - give them the cash. (-2000bc, gain moral)
b - hang up the phone and pretend it never happened. (no change)
c - have the money scheduled to be transfered to them in person, but once they show themselves, you suprise them with an all out ambush capturing many of them. (gain population bonus for the now captured slave force)
But after you pick option C, another even will pop up such as:
After having betrayed The Vorl and incorporating them as your slave labor, a strange disease has spread throughout your planets.
option:
a - release The Vorl and pay compensation (-4000bc)
b - isolate The Vorl population and hope the plague dies down (-population bonus, -4 population)
c - Isolate the Vorl population and experiment with them to find the cause of the plague. (-2 population, gain bonus in research)
If the player chose option a in the first event or option a in the second event, a new minor race is created (similar to the creation of the Fundamentalist event)
So, would any of this be possible with the system as now where one option from an event can trigger another event?
