There are still dozens of gameplay bugs and this post will end with some implementations I would like to see after the gameplay issues. I hope these can get some consideration:
Thousands in tax for 0 starbases in enemy territory and about 20 in my territory that didn't belong to me. That law is broken, so is the law that allows a race to have a newly habitable world due to volcanic activity. Nothing happens. There are still dozens of other gameplay bugs as well. The fleeting of ships where it will refuse to fleet one or make a fleet of one ship is still there with the latest update. I have way less crashes though and it seems the massive memory leak is gone after one full gigantic game so great work there. Also it would be nice if the AI would stop doing specific retarded behaviors like I often experience the torians rushing around with full transports in fleets completely unescorted (on tough) while the other races have tactics such as using escorts or positioning fleets around the world they plan to take. The iconian/torian strategy seems to be let us make them sorry they are at war with us by having them commit wholehanded genocide until they beg for peace. Another gameplay bug has to do with information warfare. I lose the fight and all the information warfare people (who died!) are added to the still living population. Is this some sort of necromancy? I still see several others as well and get perturbed by the seemingly random choices the aI makes in the invasion tactics department. Perhaps they could choose like a human would. Not just mass driver the crap out of a planet when they would likely win anyways etc. There are many AI tactic issues that need clearing up as well. On bright setting the AI will give you there resource starbases calling them "our finest starships" to help you in a fight, and will also give you ships to the point they feel they need to capitulate and toss the planets to so random alien race. Surrender really sort of sucks, resist to the bitter end like a human! Its like playing online RTS games and the 14 year olds all quit to save thier ratings. Minor races have the nads to stick to it! I would like to see that gameplay element removed entirely or PLEASE give a check button to shut it off (also tech trading, that would add an element to the game for sure!)
