Hey everyone, I've trying to think of ways to make the hull/components system a bit more realistic. You should already know how to build, for example, a battleship hull, maybe not a good one, at the beginning of the game.
So what I was thinking of doing is reworking the hulls so there would be 4 levels for each hull size. So you would start of with the following hull sizes, and each hull size would have approx. 4 levels, with more components being able to be added the higher the level:
- Fighter
- Corvette
- Frigate
- Destroyer
- Cruiser
- Battleship
What I also would like to know if its possible is to make fighters able to only travel a very short distance, then create some sort of carrier unit to carry them into deep space, although I dont know if this is possible (Maybe I've played to much Space Empires IV lol).
