BUG: Various bugs

Various bugs

Some bugs (I think) or annoyances spotted in my first Galciv2 game:

- it's not possible to lunch an empty transport spaceship, though it would be quite useful when moving people from overcrowded worlds to more spacious ones; i had to lunch them with 1 trooper instead...

- Intense Farming improvement doesn't produce more food than it's predecessor (Xeno Farming if I remember well), but maybe it's intentional as it's take less time to build.

- Shipyard: cannot remove 2 ship modules in sequence unless I click somwhere else just after hitting the 'Remove' button (e.g. click on some component to install)

- problem with creating fleet from transports (I've seen it reported already).

- planets decrease quality after save & load game - looks like it's not saved; it happens when I upgrade the planet with a soil enhancement or habitual improvement - lanet improves it's quality say from 15 to 17, but after save & load it's back on 15. The number of tiles available is OK, it's just a number that is wrong.

- at the start of the turn a summary of completed projects popup and you can click 'GoTo' to see the world concerned - up to here works fine, but if you then click for planet details and then 'Rename Planet' button the rename popup doesn't show up. It shows up later when you exit the summary popup. It's more dangerous if you go from the summary to Shipyard and try to delete or upgrade a design... For example I tried to delete one design and the popup didn't appear so I clicked it another 4 times and gave up. At the end exiting the summary screen I got all the popup in sequence So I said OK for the first one - fine, then OK for the second one and... the game crashed not surprisingly. You are probably using the same popup queue for the summary popup and for other popups and they have to wait for the first one to show up.

- when upgrading a ship design and choosing to replace the design it's deleted from the available projects list, but is not deleted from the 'Quick Build' list, where I see many versions of the same project, that was upgraded over time

- planet tiles graphics got mixed up after save & load game (I have the game saved and can provide it).

- Galactic Privateer project didn't prevent pirates to destroy my freighter.

- planets with not sufficient food supply autodecrease population to allowed max. in 1 turn; would be better if this process happens slower and is connected with decreased approval for the planet when it's overcrowded.

- there is no option to improve a starship in your own starport (at least I didn't find it), hence improving always is handled by external company and costs a lot of money...

- ships get HP bonus when gaining experience level, which is not really logical. Having experienced crew could in my oppinion affect ship attack and defense by some extra bonuses (maybe also speed at every 5th level); and BTW even if the HP increase is in place it would be better to only improve max HP not the actuall HP. I've seen ships gaining experience and HP in each fight making them more and more powerful quite quickly...

- 'Virtual Reality Center' improvement only gives 40% morale bonus while its precursor 'Zero G Sports Arena' gives 55%

- Galactic parlament resolution to give constructors base attack values more than 0 had no effect in my game - they were still built with 0/0/0...

I've noticed this with auto-survey as well in the ship details screen. If there are no more anomolies, and you try to check the auto-survey box, it just unchecks itself, then after you close that window, there messages about not being able to find any more anomolies - as many messages as times that the auto-survey was checked.

The production finished quick buttons on the right hand side of the screen don't allways fall to the bottom.

Too easy to take over planets - I took a planet that had 16000+ troops with only 2000 troops - I attacked with one troop carrier and chose the propaganda attack, reduced enemy troops to about 2000+, then attacked with the second troop carrier(propaganda) and finished 'em off. (This was a minor race planet)

Seems like the player starts in a gimped position most of the time - I have to start a new game several times before I can get a good position, one that's not stuck in a corner and pinned in by one or more opponents.(Beginner level)

Would be nice to be able to turn off the grid in the mini-map, or at least tone down the color. On the bigger maps, it's difficult to see anything except the grid when it's zoomed out.

When using the mouse scroll to zoom the minimap, would be nice for the minimap to center on the mouse cursor.

The minimap tends to lose certain overlays such as influence colors when you zoom in.

Music volume resets to default when starting the game up. Have to go back into options, and while the slider is correct, you have to readjust it to get the actual volume back down.

And a whole lotta hard drive!!!
