Some peopels ideas of having "stabase ships" is something that I should use. I like that idea and never really felt like doing it. Though one thing, i always use my older designs as small as medium, usually only though if they were ranked up from use. I find ranked up ships of even small sizes to be useful. I usually do not put on much, if any at all, of defences as it seems the AI ALWAYS attacks the larger ships first. Usually my medium ships will have the same amount of attack as my

One of the altarian designs I was using has that engine "flare" that never works coming from like a whole ships height above the entire ship. So in the battlemap all these ships i build has things that look like wisps from some RPG floating above them.

He makes a good point. If they asked "would you pay for a multiplayer expansion" it would of gotten more votes then if they put a actual price. If they would of put $10 for it they would of gotten even more. Or if they put that other things would be included with multiplayer it would of been more. I'm wondering what people put on their ship designs. I'll describe my strategy first. Usually I build, always, the largest hull available. I only use the smaller hulls if it was a previous design and I wanted to upgrade my fleets with new technology. I build one design for each hull size and upgrade it as I need to. The AI has massive influence due to an early event that wont leave so they dont have much of a problem their. Its in intelligent with the latest patch. I think its bugged because every one of the planets they have are built up like this.

I want multiplayer and a better tech tree. Maybe more specialty componeants. [b]One thing I definately would like to see is better "MOO2 style" ground combat. I hate this MOO1 style invade with colonists thing they have going now.[/b] Some people want controllable battles, that would be nice too but its not like MOO2 where you would have just one or two battles every few turns, so it would get annoying and a bad idea.

The expansion should include more than just multiplayer for $20. I used to be against such an expansion, now i want one. Many people I know now want to play this with/against others and me.
