I was wondering if their is plans for adding a custom starting system for custom races. As it stands now its either random, or you can put some star in like SOL and it will be the humans system. Is their any plans going ahead for maybe a point based system, ie. like how every other custom race feature in handled, that can be used for creating star systems? I know you can do so out side of game by editing an XML file but it should be more mor

In Galciv 1 the interface/music changed when you switched between alignments. I've never really noticed this happening much, besides maybe music, in the beta. Is this going to be a feature in the game? Definately adds ambiance to an "evil" or "good" civ.

The one main thing that annoys me with this game is the build reports that it gives you at the beginning of the turn. It only zooms to the planet's production queue. When you have a lot of territory and you are building ships it gets difficult to move all over to find the planet that the ship was built on. Playing Galciv2 and reading what their adding it sounds more like they took the best from GALCIV + some ideas from Alpha Centauri than from MOO2. This game is completely different to what MOO2 was, almost like a completely different genre. Yes GC saved the space empire building genre. If it were JUST Moo3 the genre would be dead easily by now. Now Galciv is the only game besides space empires (which i personally dont like) in this genre. Keep up the good work. And you are 100% right, the fans for MOO wanted a MOO2 with better graphics and some tweaks. Just loaded up Beta 3 and the mouse acts really weird in game. When I dont move the mouse the pointer dissapears and when i actually do move it the pointer blinks. This normally wouldn't be a problem however it wont let me scroll to the right or up when in the game map which is really annoying. WoW involved too much camping and reliability on getting in a GOOD group for me. This missions in it sucked hardcore.... Collection missions where you had to collect large amount of drops in player-infested areas.... IMO scaling is not important because i take the game as being a "tactical display" However have a realistic amount of Binary Star systems would be not only realistic but would not harm the development much at all. IMO that should definately be added.

only problem with these types of games in multiplayer is that they take sooo long if you want a good game that you need REALLY dedicated people.
