I've been having the same problem with my digital download with the game crashing frequently in the first 50ish turns and every so often after that, and I realized a couple things that help: -My game will crash early on, within the first 50ish turns and I just save every turn. -If I stop using the F1-F11 hotkeys, the number of times my games crashes drops to almost nothing after those first 50 or so turns. Consequently, outside of using the Contro

I just started playing TotA, and had a lock up while not too far into the game, and I'm wondering, which Windows Compatibility Mode is Best to use for this game? Being the fact that this game that has been out for a while, I'm wondering if using it in Windows 7 is that good of a choice. I'm only playing on a Medium sized map, and not far in, so

I-Mod Stefan, These are nice and great and all, really first rate [e digicons][/e] backgrounds and all... but I have a request: Is there anyway to get the files that I can print out, that don't require a magnifying glass to read?... or that doesn't have the background material with it, that makes it hard to read when printed out? Or... is there a way to filter the background stuff out for printing (that a somewhat novice like myself

At the risk of sounding stupid... after downloading, how do I "open" the file to look at it? What does it need to be associated with? etc. It's a *.RAR file... and I don't know what kind of file that is. Thanks in advance.

Kryo, I bought and installed the new expansion... since I had hardly touched the old game, it will all be new to me (did play GalCiv I quite a bit though), but before get two weeks into a game and find that it crashes out all the time or something like that and have to restart it, I am wondering... Will the huge patch that downloads via Impulse for the orignal game fix this problem? Or do I need to uninstall and reinstall the whole thing via Impulse? &nbsp

Yes, I'm trying to determine what size page file size I should be using for the inital ... and what size paging file size to use for the Maximum for my computer, as I'm adding new RAM to my CPU. Had 512 RAM with 2 256 Dimms in the first 2 slots, and used 1024 for inital and 1536 for maximum, which made the CPU very stable for all types of games, including MMORPGs. Odd cuz that was obviously not the 1.5 times ruling-recommended. The CPU can only handle 3 512's , and I'm

A couple weeks ago, before the patch came out, Stardock listed an excellent listing of how to set up the Swap Page File Size, and what they recommended for people to use until the new patch came out. After the patch, this info seems to have disappeared, or am I just blind?? Can anyone please tell me where this information is at? Or if it is deleted from the Website, ... Stardock, can you please repost it, or reconnect it in some way to this post??

I'm curious then... why list 512 MB RAM as recomended? Is the game going to be eventually runnable at 512 MB RAM with all bells and whistles? To anyone wondering, this isn't a flame... I want this game to work and look forward to the problem being resolved, fixed, helped, etc.
