Hey Noctilucus...check out our official empire thread which is very creatively named - "Kzinti Empire - offical empire thread." I thought of that all on my own! Definitely its been great to have more Kzinti showing up on the forums, and I have had a few compliments on my brief stories too. The empire has been more successful than I ever expected, and I know that we will overtake the Orcas eventually. The Kzinti are still ravenous for co
I hate anything to do with cats they kill frogs
Such insulting speech usually leads to someone getting eaten... *growl* Technically though, the Kzinti arent cats, being from a totally different planet than Earth. My cat Loki catches lots of frogs, and they are alive and unharmed 90% of the time. I always take the l

I generally use my largest planets for forge-worlds, unless there are some excellent bonus tiles. Even then, with a class 30+ I still might use it for industry, because its so damn big. The location of the planet in the galaxy is also a small consideration. Sentient species ta
I found that especially trading is effective when preparing a race for an alliance offer. Usually if I really want an alliance I use all my trade routes exclusively for that race. It takes only a few turns until they agree to an alliance.
I wasnt aware that multiple trade routes with one civ had more of an effect than just one trade route. I thought it was just a "yes or no" sort of effect. Can anybody confirm how it works? <a href="http://www.mypicshare.com/v
Do that then. I agree that it is not a good idea to make membership in this empire mandatory.
This would be one thing I would be against, and if it came to a vote that incorporated this requirement, then I would certainly vote no. Waht sort of tasks/responsibilites need to be delegated? I'm willing to lend a hand if need be. <img src="http://www.mypicshare.com/thumbs/20
Please note that in your submissions you must mention: This is by no means any big deal but why do you need Race and Difficulty since these are not scoring criteria? I understand the need for Character even though it's not a scoring criteria because it's needed in case you have to look up the game. I suppose Race and Difficulty could be useful information to identify the specific game in case you do have to look up the game, however there could certainly be ot
Hmm, seems the "reasonable Kzin" breeding program missed one. That makes me wonder, how would the first Man-Kzin war have ended if the Kzinti attacked while Brennan was still alive? Not well for you, I imagine
For a Kzin it is reasonable to lay your enemy's planets to waste and devour everyone. Jack
I am very pleased with the AltMeta, and seeing something smiliar implemented for the MVL would be interesting. I do wonder though if it there is enough people in the MVL who want this, to warrant the time and effort that would go into it. As was stated, one problem with the current system is that the scorekeepers need to search through a long thread for small amounts of data. I think that problem could be easily solved with a thread purely for submitting games, and all other replies to
What happens if you run into a race of dog people? Do you climb the nearest tree?
Hehe! Depends if they are bigger than a Kzin...if not, they get eaten. Nobody has made an empire of dog-beings to test this out. Have a character that could join the Kzinti, PlayJeff? <

Hi Arcanic, Thanks for the compliment. I've been watching your score climb pretty quickly...faster than when I started playing the game. (at first I didnt realize registering defeats lowered your score, because I just wanted a record of what I did) One more game should put you over 100k, and earn you the title of Hero (Senator). Thanks for helping make the Kzinti a success! <img src="smiles/Congrats.gif" border=0 align=
We dont have our own forum Webnavigator...we have a good number of people who play regularly, but few who show up much on the forums often. I would like to get more people who are active on the forums though, and lately more people have joined who have a presence here. Maybe now it is time to set up something. I will look into it over at the Galactic Core and see what it would entail, or like some empires simply have a running thread here. I've started a number of posts with the Kzinti as th
