Its really best to dive right into a sandbox game i think. I don't know what your experience is with other TBS games so i can't tell you what level to start with. You may have good understanding of what you need to do from reading the forums like you said you did; now its just learning HOW to do those things. Learning the game should be fun even if you don't do well at first. Seeing things happen for the first time can be exciting. So jump in and if / when you hit a snag post

I just can't even comprehend that income. [e digicons]:(O[/e] So does the loss of income due to having over 20000 BC in your treasury effect score? I nver noticed if the loss was considered a new kind of expense or if your income was actually lowered. Oh BTW i FINALLY got my 20 game medal.

You either have to have that race declare war on you or you have to start a war with them. Its the only way. Yes, you will take a diplomacy hit. Thats the way it is. If, however they declare war on you, you won't take the penalty. You have to decide how important having other races like you is.

It should be on the plastic case that the disk came in... on a white sticker. Putting the serial number on the outside of the box would be a bad idea.

@ Willy, I've seen you on GameFaqs many times. I also know that you've been here for quite a while if not on the last ten pages of this thread. As KP said, you are always wecome here. As a member of this empire now, I'd like to appologize for the way you were spoken to while here. For the record I "heard" the tone of humor or semi-humor in your post. At least it had one. The original series just dead ended. Then they made it worse with that "movie". Galactica 1980 [e digicons]:puke:[/e] . I guess everyone figured that the first earth wasn't our earth. I think they had to end it they way they did. I was just never sure what time period they would get here. I guess I'll ask here. Where do I go to report a bug? I posted a few times in the Bug Reports section but got no responses. It is definately a previously unreported bug in DA, and most probably in the other GalCiv games. What happenes is that if you trade an AI for Gravity Accelerators you do not get the +1 speed bonus and I believe the same happens when you give the trade to the AI. SoleSoul checked and confirmed that this only effects Gravity Accele

Just one other thing about this show... for anyone out there that smokes or used to smoke, How many frakkin' packs did the doctors have with him???? I mean the guy chain smokes and four years later hes still got some to light.
