I guess I'll ask here. Where do I go to report a bug? I posted a few times in the Bug Reports section but got no responses. It is definately a previously unreported bug in DA, and most probably in the other GalCiv games. What happenes is that if you trade an AI for Gravity Accelerators you do not get the +1 speed bonus and I believe the same happens when you give the trade to the AI. I don't knwo if any other trade goods are acting in this way but they may we

We're talking about 2 clicks here. I think the resetting influence at each game load is worse. If you really want this changed add it to the "What do you want to see in GAL Civ 3" thread.
I'm pretty sure that it does NOT include research. Because there is an different ethical choice that specifically gives a bonus to research. You should be able to check the planet's bonuses in the details screen. Look on the bottom right when you have the planet screen opened, one of the buttons says "details" click it and you will be able to see what bonuses the planet is getting and from where. I'm hoping you will be able to see if it specifically says research or not; i believe it
Heres my favorite thread about how unrealistic the game is. Dealing with scale instead of population. https://forums.galciv2.com/160118
I don't think so.
What about the UP electing a leader before each vote. The leader would be chosen automatically based on the most popular race as well as some other properties, most of which are probably already figured into relations. When the vote comes up the leader ghets to pick out of a list, what the others will be voting on. Not completely game changing but still adds something. Something to shoot for if you don't want to be fighting wars and gives more use to diplomacy. Also gets you to avoid
way that I can disable the Terrain Alliance's super ability
Turn off super abilities? I know, you don't want the AI races to not have them. I think the higher difficultly level might do the trick, especially if all or most of the other races are evil. I think you definitely get earlier wars with higher levels. I have a game now that it took just 9 months for the Drengin to start a war with me. It is harder to keep up militarily at the beginning on hard game so you are

Ok Ok someone HAS to post screen shots now. I'm too curious...
Not the way you might be thinking, or maybe it is... You CAN resubmit a game but it will erase the previous one. I don't know how many times you can do it since I've never dopne it myself, maybe just once. But if you continue to play and get a better score you can supercede the previous one. I don't think there is anything to it othjer than reposting when you are done. I wonder if it asks you if you want to overwrite the previous score.
My evil Altarian Metaverse character likes this idea.
Because of your character I can't play against the Alterians without reflexively gifting them Aphrodidiacs. Even then my relations won't get close.
The part about not being warned when you try to use the same name stumps me. Otherwise, I would think maybe you didn't research the larger hulls in your current game, if you saved the ships in a prior game. OR You were using a different race than the previous game and the ships arn't available with your current race.
I've got something up my sleeve
I'm guessing its not cutting more wires.
wow this game is deffinitely sounding better than GalCiv2. All we have there are fertility clinics. But of course we DO have Korx flying through space for all to see.
