Agreed, Jinksy. Man, I am so sick of people endlessly clamoring for multiplayer.
Kryo fixed it... thanks!
The details are listed above, but OK... PM on its way.
Well, I've played quite a few games that should have showed up on the Altmeta, so we may be even higher on the chart once the problem has been fixed. That said, Kryo has not commented, so I'm not sure what's happening with that. MVL is just restarting now; I haven't submitted a game for that since the last round, a few months ago. That said, all MVL games also count toward the Gerontocracy, or should.
I agree with the above rule, but the ability to deduct a player's score might not sit well with the rest of the team. I mean, an entire team could suffer on the actions of one individual. Of course, a person cheating(should they be caught) would be an exception.
Thinking about sports (which, admittedly, I know little about), teams often suffer the penalties caused by individual team members, don't they? I mean, if a hockey player gets sent to the penalty box, the other pl
Also this was brought to Cari's attention
As far as I am aware, CariElf has not commented on ARC, nor has any other Stardock rep. If someone has, though, please let me know where. I'm curious to know when/if this will be fixed.
*drools* Um, so you are getting those with fewer habitable planets, then?
Just to verify... ARC is no longer allowed, right?
One more question, am I correct in assuming tht if you upgrade a colony ship to a transport that you keep the people/soldiers that were already on board? Yes, You are correct. This is why I use not original colony ship, but colony ship with 500 colonists at the start.
Wow, that's good to know. I learn something new every day on these forums! I find that kind of funny, actually. "Wait, we're an invasion force? But I thought we were settlers.
That banner is awesome, Piznit.
Just read through that, thanks KP. Wish the strategy didn't involve ARC, though -- has anyone done it without modifying files?
Kselis congratulations on getting into the year zero club and wow! you have any hints for those of us whoa re still trying to finish in under 20 years?
Wow, that's impressive. I really want to know how you all are doing these games...
It might be worth waiting before starting the draft, in case we get more interest from new players.
Mumble, would you mind changing the title of this post to "Metaverse League Recruitment Drive"? For those who don't read your post, they'll never learn what the acronym stands for. Just a thought. Kryo, would you mind stickying this?
Can we open a new thread, in an attempt to get some new players? I doubt any new players will just wander into this thread... I was barely paying attention myself, having skipped on the bonus round.
Huh, I didn't know there were techs unique per alignment/race. Good to know.
Can't say I got that far. The few Terran ToA games I've played so far were wrapped up (~2231) before I could spend time with warp bubbles (fleets weren't big enough) or energy grids or any of that cool stuff. Games go pretty quickly on medium and large maps. Anyone had a chance to play with those goodies?
I've played about five games as Terrans now, and the only time I tried integrity grids was in the last game, because I intentionally veered off in the tech tree
Goobi, how is Astral Masters? Any good? I played Space Rangers 2 for a while, but found myself getting extremely frustrated by some aspects of it. The text quests seemed like a really interesting addition, but I couldn't figure out what they were asking most of the time... atrocious translation from Russian.
Interesting. I'll have to give your strategy a go. What tech tree are you using?
Wow, IDMopman, that's very impressive. Not many people in this forum can complete a military victory on suicidal. My only suicidal was a tech victory, which doesn't really count, since I hid in the corner the whole game. I haven't seen many people post suicidal TotA games for some reason... maybe they're still learning the ins and outs. Any pointers on how you did this? How was your custom race spec'd?
Yeah... Galactic Civilizations 2 Completely stuffed up on my Yesterday. It was really shit Because I was so close to creating my own version of Galactic Civilizations 2. I had a name planned and everything... But then I got my hands on some twilight of the Arnor files and A huge range of options was opened for me. I put in new items and weapons and then decided to create a special mod using the Galciv apps folder and data folder... that's when everything turned bad. I don't know what happ
The changes in the tech tree were manageable for the Terrans, but having most of the Drengin facilities be automatically scrapped after an invasion was a big surprise. Getting an opponent’s development techs are now a higher priority, and considering the Drengin are diplomatically challenged it should be pretty easy to pry it out of their claws for a modest sum or an useless tech. The salient lesson – plan your targets early so and beg-borrow-buy-or-steal their development techs so that y
to be honest KP i think the highest dificulty i can do is begginer.
No way, Seth... you can do it, just keep at it. It gets easier with experience.
