In every game I played (also in the betas) they "win" the colony rush and had the largest empire.

I want to know if it is better to specialize Planets with bonus research fields to scientific planets or not. For example: If I have a planet which have a little place, giving me a 300% research bonus, 4 research buildings and a technological capital. Well... it is not really necessary, and sometimes the sense of humor is funnier in englisch... but i like it mostly a bit more playing games in my own language. Will there be a german translation by stardock? Or is this a job for a german moding community? I remember for the main game and DA there were german translations out there.

I am playing on crippling difficulty level. The tech trading on this level is all right in my opinion. Its not to easy but with enough diplomacy advantage you can trade for your benefit. In this case I first thought the same and tested this. But also after developing "advanced colonization", it doesent worked. So I think its a little bug. Perhaps also with other techs. My Experience with Beta 6b so far. Every KI is on genius difficulty level in a huge universe: - The Humans and Torians colonise every game very well and very very fast. The Drengins and Yor dont. I watched the Drengins. They have had enough colonization ships but dont used them. Later they seem to wake up, but its too late. When the Humans and Torians had about 40 Colonies, Drengin and Yor have about 12. - the Iconian Refuge seem to take 100% taxes. On most of their 25 Planets
I have the same problems with some broken AIs which dont colonize anything and building amounts of useless ships. I am playing on tough and above, so its not a matter of the difficulty level.
