WoW skin uses a special windowblind version to skin Galciv also uses some of this technology to skin itself I guess there is an interference between each other I hope this goes noticed by stardock crew, as this should not happen
well... the difference of beta revision is not normal as an example I get this : Debug Message: Version v1.1 BETA 4 last updated on: Wed Apr 12 18:45:12 2006 I would suggest uninstalling the game, deleting the galciv2 folder completely and reinstalling, and updating the game again, if after that you still get that beta revision difference I would delete (after backup) the folder : My Documents\My Games\GalCiv2

unfortunately I don't understand all what "Supreme Shotgun" said some of the sentences proposed are just too obscure for me... like the reference to Alan Bradley or James Kona or the dog or Billie Jean how can that be a declaration of war ? please stardock don't make the game so complicated that we need too much culture to understand what the computer is trying to say to us although things like : "There Can Be Only One"
I just got a my collector edition yesterday and I have only one serial number that I used with sdcentral to get updates I know it's a collector because I got the technology tree anyway sdcentral automatically registered my game on stardock and after that I was able to download the extra collectors stuff from here : https://www.galciv2.com/CollectorsEdition/

here's an advice for what it's worth boost the AI difficulty that way your allies (if you have some) are stronger (don't know if you should have allies in that part of the campaign)
yeah it seems a few points have been improved like speed I think I can actually manage to browse through the forums in a few seconds for stardock keep up the good work and soon you will have a better forum than any existing forum elsewhere </

a beta software is a software that is currently undergoing testing though beta software is often not very buggy when compared to alpha it is still more subject to bugs, crashes, glitches, and new stuff currently in testing... beta testers, (that is people who use beta software) are expected to give detailed reports on the bugs, crashes, glitches, new features that are currently undergoing testing according to the change log<

about AI tech trade, I think most AI should be very wary of giving/trading their tech (which seems to be the case in 1.1according to others reports) after all did countries trade nuclearpower amongst themselves ? though I think that some variety could be good ie one race or two might love to share techs (especially amongst good civ) what do you think ?

First let me say I'm doing this in the hope that some of this is improved overtime because Stardock is an awesome company and I would like it to be perfect As you can see on joeuser Link or totalgaming website many things are accessible from other stardock related websites.
