Doesn't matter if Steam has a Linux version. How many games/programs that you use on the PC have the same? And, will you have to purchase them anew by switching to a Linux system? That could be a very expensive switch. Steam is only the delivery system, after all. If the games don't follow suit, what does it matter?

Since your CPU and BIOS are not being reported correctly your OS install may not have gone well. Have you checked Device Manager (or what replaces it in Vista) for errors?
Oh, PLEASE!!!! The PC will not be replaced by any type of pad. Why? Because a pad can never do as much. And, because the 'pad' is based on the same tech as the PC. And a threat to Windows? Again, PLEASE! There will always be a Windows version that does more with better interaction than anything else (give or take a generation). Microsoft is here to stay, no matter what. (Well, unless something better comes along. But what are the chances
That one was even quicker.
Nope. First try, and it went through in about 5 seconds.
I'll try a post to see if it booms.
Yup. All you can do is attack.
DL does not have spy's. In DL you can steal techs with espionage or by invasion. Since you can not apply espionage to a minor race in DL, the only way to steal a tech from them is to successfully invade their planet. Even then, it is a random event.
The blue ones also, especially late in the game if you have 69-70% influence. An influence resource or two, fully loaded with mining modules, could mean an easy influence victory.
Well, from my perspective I am the only one living in the past.
Your entire post is nothing but fluff. And by fluff I mean cr&p. Do what you want to do. No one here cares. Don't try to justify yourself by others agreeing to what you are doing. You should have more self respect than that. You should be more grounded in what you, yourself, believe. If you think what you are doing is right and correct, then just shut up and do it. After all... Who, other than God, is going to gainsay you?
I don't think you could do that without modding the game.
It may have more to do with the population of the planet the ship was built on.
It sounds like you might have a task running in the background.
I guess that would be, because I don't seem to have that much of a problem from SoCal.
Why does it seem like it is more related to the region that it is posted from, rather than from the Stardock servers?
Yet, I can post once and have it go through the first time.
You would either add or replace memory modules on your motherboard. Best to bring it in to a computer repair shop if you are that unfamiliar with computers.
Get another Gig or two of RAM, you should be set to go.
So you're back a year and a half later with the same complaints. So, you've revamped your computer and added a new 8400? Yet, you had an 8400 back then. And the same e-mail address all this time, and you registered the game with it back then, yet the game is registered to another e-mail account. Sorry, but it sounds like you either purchased a used copy that was already registered or you downloaded a pirate copy.
BOOM!!! (not a forum boom, just a joke boom)
What version of the game are you using? I only have Dread Lords.
That's why you should always back the file up to a different folder before you mess with it.
You have very limited RAM, much of which is in use when you start the program. Add to that the High Res mod and a large galaxy size. Try running without mods and see if it helps.
There is no scaling, it just happens sometimes. If you go back to the last saved game, it may not even happen again.
