One does wonder how you will get the Terror Star into their system without their notice. Those things are crazy slow.

Nope, no bug. I've had 4 in the same game year! That was exciting. TA at challenging.
You only have to fix the registry problem if it didn't install right. Most folks don't have an issue.
I don't believe you can turn this off. It started in 1.8 somewhere, didn't it? I'm too lazy to look at the change log, but you are welcome to.
Sounds like an issue with your system. Can you give us any specs for your system?
MP provides "staying power" for a select group of people, those with a large amount of gaming time to spend in large blocks that happens to coincide with the gaming time available to other people with whom they enjoy playing. To say that a minority of gamers fit this category would be a laughable understatement. To the rest of us, a game that has been developed solely for single player and as such has the best AI and the most versatility possible for a game of its type has massively more
Why not just prevent it from issuing the command until the mouse button is released? One could simply press esc or the left button or drag off of the map to cancel the order.
Thats whats great about this game. Its like a thousand games in one since you can customize the rules and options all over the place.
It would be nice if such important news made it on to the front page though.
First of all, a campaign is typically a story mode whereby you role play as a certain character of a certain race and overcome certain things in certain missions. The basic idea is that you are given a finite set of options to accomplish a finite set of goals. Not sure what else to expect from a campaign. The story line in DL and DA can probably be played separately without a huge amount of spoiling or feeling completely lost I think (just my opinion). I'm about half way through the
Well Brad, what do you say?
I am just curious: Has everyone that does not find value in trade routes researched down the trade tree to get all the bonuses? I've never found much use for trade routes (though I like the extra cash when someone does form one) since I usually run a self-sufficient empire and don't trade my precious resources with the cannon fodder that temporarily occupies my backyard.
It was declared (by Cari I believe) that it didn't make the cut. Sorry.
I turned it on the moment it was available as well. Never saw much reason to turn it off again.
1) You need to build econimic buildings (market centers, etc) en mass. Your taxes come from population, so that is important too. To keep your population happy, you need to build moral buildings (entertainment center, etc). You can hover your mouse over the approval rating of a planet to see what is effecting it. Some planets have bonuses to moral for various reasons and thus are better for raking in the cash. These buildings must be balanced with a proper tax rate and any econimic/
Last beta still have bugs, hope gamma/final will fix them.
Thats the idea KiRon. I'm sure they are using the time wisely.
Not sure why it put a double post. My apologies.
Very true Bichur. I intended from the customer's viewpoint. There is no real incentive for me to work faster as I make more the longer it takes. I only seek the fastest solution that fully resolves the problem because it is the right way to do business. Back on topic: Starkers, have you got anywhere with your problem?
It is my opinion that many cable providers are rather dishonest and monitor everything you download for content they deem inappropriate. They also tend to throttle certain ports and protocols. If you don't know what I am referring to, then you probably have no reason to care about those issues. You should call the ISP's you are interested in and ask many questions.
See [link="https://forums.galciv2.com/309711"]here[/link]. They can't get mad at you since they don't know it was you.
Hmm... I can see your point. Though I would say the two statements are different. The problem is work ethic and quality of work.
And some poor customer would discover all his/her pics of Fido were trashed.
Why do so many techs just wipe the drive? I have never understood that. I always do a complete image and then restore the customer's data after the reinstall. Why wouldn't you?
