It is not enough that the AI is different because the human player as we all know does not have any AI thus creating an inbalance. There must be an incentive for the player to pick other races than the Drath, but currently there are none as far as I can see (because the Drath start out with so many and so big 'locked' boni). </T
Morberis
I've always thought that thing near useless, hmmm maybe not.
That money could always go to funding the resettling of their race... but yeah looks like he'll bail with the money.
The Torians might have captured multiple miniturization superprojects.
In long drawn out wars with equals or superiors I've found them useful.
Why did this post suddenly distort all to the right? The images aren't oversized...
Hmmm, I tend to have the morale racial bonus's so once I settle a few planets I usually up my a approval rating from 50% to 75% so I can get them producing people faster, I'll usually alternated that every once and a while to help my colonization waves (not really waves but w/e) up their populations and keep my economy afloat.
To encourage you to design your own ships?
The second thing is a bug, I've encountered it as well. Try reloading a save, though it seems it may take several reloads to 'take' as it were.
Yeah you don't need that many production planets, but make sure the ones you do have are fully geared towards production.
Does everything need an RP reason?
What difficulty are you playing?
I think a big part about why PA brought in so many people is because A) its free to read their opinions, see ads on their site B) Alot of gamers trust their opinions C) A & B combined with the amount of traffic their site gets. Personally I tend not to buy videogame magazines because I'm not willing to spend the 10 bucks they cost (especially when I can get similar info and demos for free online), even when I do tend to buy them I tend to ta
I was preparing for a massive invasion from the Drengin and upgraded all my ships. Problem was I upgraded them all into colony versions with 0 attack and 0 defense that I had gotten from a ship pack. I of course upgraded them all to their rightful stats the next turn but ooo did that put me in the hole.
Have you changed the level of the tactical zoom?
O sweet jesus that is sweet.
Alot of the bug reports are from people who either haven't updated their drivers, are using the beta, or who have system problems unrelated to the game.
Anyone know what that "Debug Message: Can't find ship type Fleet in definitions" would mean?
Personally I like them. When I'm flipping through a mag and see something intereasting, usually a gameplay example i'll stop and read it. I especially like ads that do that because (so sue me) they'e usually more graphically appealing/intereasting. My only advice is allow them to pull it out and use it as a poster.
Oy, maybe for GalCiv 3 it will be a 3d 'board' =P, ah we can all dream.
Ok upon trying out beta 4 I noticed a few glitches. 1)The final tech in the factory chain finished researching immediately, even though I had 9 turns left. 2)My factories didn't automatically upgrade to them I had to auto-designate them and the previous factory version was in the build menu 3)No matter where I tried moving ships it kept giving me the out of range message, even when trying to put them in orbit around my
What ended up happening, did you notice anything? Was it a minor or major race that it was referring too?
He didn't say increase the number to resemble real galaxies, he suggested that they make the layour resemble a real galaxy, you know spiral arms and such. Make it something like the map "epic"
The only races I trust are the Drengin and Yor, the rest always try to play people.
You do know it isn't just the placement of the slider bar on the slider that matters right? If you look at the right you notice that you can't set multiple things to 100%, if one thing is 100% everything else will be 0%.
