You can deficit spend, so the amount of money you bring in doesn't matter unless it puts you under -500BC.
Morberis
Its a known bug.
Really destroying the whole planet and conquering it are no different, in both cases you commit genocide.
It depends. In endgame it can often take me 3 turns or 4 turns to produce my warships but I can produce at least 1 constructor a turn even from my slowest production planets. SO if I decide to build them non-stop within 4 turns I often have enough to fully upgrade the assists and some of the other bonus's. Of course I only send them in right before the attack, to forestall it being killed of course.
They are indeed a viable choice, you just have to be careful. I find that its best to take over someone within 2-3 turns, otherwise if there are no other wars going on someone might turn on you. If there are other wars going on then its not that bad.
They could just have went elsewhere, nothing saying they actually died they just stopped paying taxes.
If you scroll really fast it also appears to bunch up in places.
Yes they do. Having a ring of economic starbases around each of your primary production worlds (econ, research, mil) can often make or break a difficult game.
A multiplayer expansion would be nice.... but only if I had friends to play it with. The sheer amount of time it takes right now to finish a SP game limits the amount of games I finish but if you doubled that it would take me at least a day of nonstop playing to finish a game.
I have seperated them like that, in fact i've started them on opposite ends of the map. They always end up following eachother with only a slight difference in movement paths.
I use the +70 growth rate option. It allows me to expand with the only bottleneck being colony production. No more worrying about running out of people. Same goes for building transports. I also usually buy 3 colony pods right off the start, wait till they get 1 billion people then buy them a factory (to make sure they have the population to support the added maintenance costs). After that I usually put out a colony pod every 6-7 turns somet
Same thing happened to me, granted I was evil so that would probably explain it. I'm sorry but me and the Drengin alone can't hold off half the galaxy when they zerg us, and Oh beleive me they zerg now and do protect transports.
Im going to disagree with you. In many of my games the first person to get large and massive hulls has a huge advantage. When that group of fighters takes 12 dmg they lose damage potential while the large ship keeps on shootin. And once they start leveling up they're almost unbeatable. My endgame fleet size even on gigantic maps end up being 5 or so fleets of massive ships maybe with a fighter in there, and so far they end up taking out at least 30 -40
I expect most of the customizeable stuff to start appearing when the mod folder and such starts working properly
what? I'm still demolishing my starports and I have the new beta
Ignore the food bonus's and make this a production planet, this was too small a world to place enouch entertainment centers to balance them anyway. Well maybe with terriforming but thats iffy.
Unless your os is based on this external drive also
Actually current star formation modals say its impossible for a star to form without planets. The reason for this is the conservation of angular momentum, of no planets were formed most stars would be spinning so fast that they would fly apart. Which is why uranus has more angular momentum than the sun.
Yeah, it doesn't end up devastating the industry unless you actually capture the world, in which case its a detriment to you as I'm sure you know.
I once left off defragging my 5 gig hard drive in my pentium 333 for two years... It ended up taking over a week of non-stop defragging to finish using the built in defragger.
Beam weapons the best, for the rest they only use a sqaure root of their actual power.
Would it be possible to have a setting the player can manipulate, possibly for each AI, that would manipulate the 'togetherness' or isolationism? Thats just a dream though =P Looks like this AI overhaul has real potential!! And never stop these little reports, so soo intereasting.
One thing you may do is to get the strongest powers involved in your initial conflict, overproduce alot of ships at the start, make sure your ships are technological superior and try to develop 'hero' ships, keep a cache of tech and money to payoff your second attackers.
Lets just have all races be EXACTLY the same with only the name and portrait being different. It seems that's what some of these people want. Now where did any of us say that? We just said that there already were differences and that you're just ignoring them if you say there aren't.
I dunno I've made large hulls that stretch the limits of the creation screen and they never did that.
