I get at least one per game. More on bigger maps. It's just a matter of probability methinks.
99% of the PQ13+ planets I get have NO bonus tiles at ALL.
Bad luck?
Achronous
Well, yeah, the more tiles are available the higher the chance of one being there. Doesn't also the trait Luck play a role in its appearance? ( at least on the home planet)
Nope, you can't. Sorry :)
Well, the AI has been improved. And the races have changed a lot in TA :) And there's more to come, especially in the AI updates :CONGRAT:
/cynical mode on Wouldn't the fact that it's been a few months since you last played them game also contribute to your amazement? /cynical mode off Sorry, I just had to say that. :)
There are some research bonuses lying around in the next star system. hehe ;)
==shudder==
Nope. They are the publishers indeed. But they probably talked about stuff with Ironclad and guided them (sounds so cliché) and they were responsible for marketing (most probably) and published it. So without them, no game. Thank God EA didn't get their grimy hands on the game. Brrrr.
Welcome to Galciv2 and the forums! :)
You can try the ship designer now, since you can download the beta from SDC! A lot of stuff changed in two years so you'll get pretty excited!
They are looking really busy over at Sins of Solar Empires website what with them hitting number ones on many fronts (Congratualations Stardock and Ironclad!!), so it's bound to be a little slow over here. I just hope they don't forget us :SNIFF!: ( I don't think so, just being overly dramatic :p Go Stardock!)
Yeah, I'm sure I saw that one. Although it only appeared after DA, not in DL
Ooops, didn't notice your post! Thanks for that. How about the rest of the issues? Did anybody else notice them too, or are they just my problem?
Neither with DL, for that matter :p
I wasn't sure if I should post this here or the bugs section, but here goes: As you can see in the picture, when you choose that extra, you don't get the one you expect but something else. So far this is the only one I got. Not related to this, I sometimes get some flicker in the minimap when I'm in the Ship editor (normally the minimap isn't even visible), and some flickering of the planetary
They are probably finishing up the patch instead of following a what will turn out to be something that happened by a misunderstanding. Patience, people, patience...
No it's ok, I actually agree with you. But yeah, with TA the races have different biuldings so now this only affects the Terrans, I think.
Hmmmm, "correct" is such a subjective word :)
Excellent! Good work! Nice to see some movement again on Galciv! So I guess this is the Preview Release you promised us before the end of the month, eh? That's goooood :) Can't wait to see the finished Thalan. They did seem a bit unfinished. Are they supposed not to get any of the Influence techs (I can't remember the Preview Post) or is it part of the upcoming patch?
so keep posting on the forums of what you'd like to see and we'll work what we can in for this
Although it's much better than DA, I hope it will be improved. Now all the planets look the same. Same sky, same clouds etc. Even the cities do not fully look different (although I need to look some more since the planets I invaded thus far weren't fully developed) But seriously, each planet type should have a different background picture, and clouds. They can't all the same.
That's almost two years Smegma (that's a yucky name, if I ever saw one :P). Doesn't time fly so quickly when you are playing Galciv? Hehe!
I think they are just busy as publishers of Sins of a Solar Empire, which will be released in February. But I do hope they make it with the "Preview" release of TA before the end of the month, as promised...
Europe and the mediterranean?? Please :)
That must be the most original festive image I've seen in a long time...!
Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year from me as well :) I hope you had a wonderful year and wish you all the best and success for the years to come!
