I'd like to testify as well that God is alive and exists. I believe without any doubt that Jesus Christ is my personal saviour, and the global saviour of all.. God loves us all even if we don't believe in Him. Yes. To my current knowledge there was only one moment where God could interfere: when our universe was created in so called Big Bang, and its parameters were set. The rest is physics - known and (yet) unknown. God made the laws

I am used to downloading updates and hitting the .exe file, not having some middleman do it for me The non-beta updates are usually uploaded on the Downloads section as well, so you could wait for the final release of the update. Betas are, after all, betas, and you should only download it if you want to test the beta and provide feedback.
Could you please post a link as I can't find a screenshot anywhere?
Photoshop maybe able to show the .raw files, I think. It'll ask you for headerless data (I think) but if you leave it to 0, or maybe the default options it will show them. If not, try playing around with it, you might get it. Sorry for being so vague, I did it some time ago and don't remember...
Frogboy, does CariElf beat you with a stick every time you open one of these ideas threads? Lol, I bet a tug of war happens really close the pond
To be honest I dont agree with terrorist attacks within the game as its a bit morally subjective. Sure its a game, and its not real, but terrorism within the game should be left out, purely out of respect. I agree with this, too sensitive I think. Black hole event. Good idea, but wouldn't it be difficult to code in? I'm thinking changes that won't have to change the game code, like the ones we have
-Some cosmic event manages to re-arrange the galaxy, star systems are thrown in different direction, empires are fragmented, and fleets are scattered across the universe. This mega-event might be too much effort to program. - I'd say it is easier to program a redistribution of all the planets to all the races, so everybody gets a random share of the total available planets. Should really throw the game out of control! All yo
To use the colony rally points you need to already have your colonies sending ships to a rally point by the method above. Then you go into the colony governor and you can change from there where your ships are going. Example: You set 5 planets to send ships to rally point 1 just to have your ships concentrated somewhere. You get into war. So you make a new rally point in the enemy territory, rally point 2. So now instead of going manually through all the 5 planets to c
Ok basically you click on the little circle with the arrow on the planet selection screen and is all self explanatory from then on. I hope the following animation helps. The arrows show points of interest!:
Em, not quite. First of all that's the map of the observable universe. Second, that's the cosmic microwave background, and I am quoting from the website where the image can be found: "The cosmic microwave background (CMB) is an almost-uniform background of radio waves that fill the universe. The CMB is, in effect, the leftover heat of the Big Bang itself - it was released when the universe became cool enough to become transparent to light and other electromagn
Another option is to build up some good planets and give them to the AI and see how that goes.
To confess, I haven't really tried Quorn, but the only reason I didn't is the high nucleic acid content which can lead to gout, which admittedly they reduced dramatically in recent years. I might give it a second chance next time I see it the supermarket. And Star Trek meat must be grades superior than real life food, right?
Right now, some people download these betas and I guess I don't know what they're expecting but apparently they expect them to be the same as releases. Hmm, I agree. There are many people that download the betas and then complain about the bugs. It should be a little more difficult to get those betas, and the warning more prominent. As it is now, you just click "Show pre-release" and you kinda skip the warning as it's too long. A sort red sign should go
Well, I guess the megaevents were introduce to stop that a bit. But I think it depends on the player. I like to keep everything under control as well, and research as much as I can, build my worlds like I want and not to maximise production/research etc, and generally take my time. Sure, some of my games are quick, if I really want to win. Other times, I might pretend that I'm just in charge of an empire and roleplay a bit. Haven't you ever played a R
Did you see the gameplay video? It's quite big to download but absolutely worth it! It looks quite amazing... The black hole is so funny, but I guess if you are at the receiving end it wouldn't be And the end... LOL You'll have to see it for yourselves! The only thing I don't like is the resource collection. I think it's too tedious and when you run out of it, that's it. I think I prefer W40K reso
Best soundtrack I've encountered was for Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines I agree wholeheartedly! Each music piece they used was really suitable for the scene. I remember that when my brother was playing the section with the haunted house, we were on the edges of our chairs. The music in the club was awesome as well, wouldn't you say?
Many people stopped eating it when they told us what it was. About half of us figured that it made no difference and kept eating. You shoulda probably stopped eating them Can't imagine the pollution the accumulated inside their little slimy bodies! Maybe it might work if they came up with a cute name for the grown meat?</div
The minimap stays the same. It's when you zoom out that you can see the habitable planets having a different icon.
Lol, the True Path of Hitchhiking is long and tortuous, but it might yet draw me in... Five books you say, mmmmm. Is it the sort that you wish that the finishes but at the same time wish it never does, if you get what I mean??
Fable's soundtrack is sort of hypnotizing and entrancing... I don't know.. I guess it'k ok for that sort of game. The sound effects sometimes are disconcerting though, especially for the fireball. It's sounds as if somebody is screaming when it's charging up.
Yes, indeed, I was planning to do so, but no time now... I'll probably start them in the summer after I finish Philip's Pullman Dark Materials trilogy. I'm on the final book, though suspended for the moment (too much work) Very nice books though, reccomended! I hear they are making a movie after them now.
Here's a recruitment poster I made: What do you think? Ehm, it makes want to run away and cower in a corner? The sight of a Voghon (that's how they are called right? It's been some time since I saw the movie) is not a pretty thing!
By the way, kalymera calimera
I've 'noticed' that my ships in a fleet are getting a raise to their hitpoints after every ship they kill. Now normally I would look at this as a good thing but I'm not sure this was how combat was supposed to work. This is an intended feature, isn't it? The concept of veteran, killer fleets?
Also giving races different hull styles for starbases would be awesome. Seconded. There are different styles for hulls, why not for starbases. We have to click on them to see where they belong to. Their colours don't really help..
