Ah, I see. Thanks for quick answer! :CONGRAT:

Since I have trouble installing the game with my CD's I downloaded Gal Civ from Stardock Central. It says it is version 1.50 Beta. There is no intro in the game, and the music and sound effects are not working while playing (even if I checked the sound options). Why there is no older working version to download and just this beta? Thanks S.
Ah ok, I see. So by lowering your taxe rate you increase birth. I have another question: does a morale building (entertainment etc..) has an effect only on the planet it is built or does it have an overall effect on your empire population?
I know it has an effect for the vote of declaration of war, but does it have other effects? Does it affect tax income and/or productivity? I tend to set my tax rate so I can have an approval of 50% (the number is then yellow, it is green with 60% and more approval) Thanks
With all these people asking for carriers why the devs don't do anything about it. I agree that adding carrier modules should not be so much a pain to add in a next patch. Carrier modules should have been in the game in the first place, it was a mistake to overlook it. Just correct it and people will shut up with carriers.
I hope so. Tactical combat is a must in a 4x game in my opinion. That is why GC2 is not as fun as MoO2.
Something I am missing from Master of Orion is big fleets of hundreds of ships. In Gal Civ even with the latests logisitic techs we just have a few ships in a fleet. For me a true fleet is like 30 to 40 ships at the least, not 5 to 10, that is called a squadron not a fleet
I have chosen the Thorian logo for my customized race and my race colour is something like purple. Now I am fighting against the Yors who have the same colour as me, so there is no difference between my influence zone and planets with theirs and its a pain to move ships. Anybody had this annoying problem?
No doubt about it: MoM II is the way to go!
Do you guys turned it off? I have played two games so far and had two diplo victory. You just as to ally with everybody who can and eliminate the others...
So far I had two diplomatic victory, which seems easy to win...Maybe I will turn diplomatic victory off. Do you guys have a lot of diplomatic victories?
I wish there where settings to change the range scale. Most of the time range just isn't an issue. Having to build resupply starbases, and protecting them would really make the game more fun for me. /quote] What is a good resupply starbase? Military, economic or influence? Logicaly it should be military or economic but I am not sure?
Stardock should get the rights for MoM II. Go Stardock
Stardock should definitively push to obtain MoM rights. There is already a huge fan base waiting for Mom 2. Go Stardock!
Like if I want to turn a farm into a factory : is it better to upgrade the farm to factory or destroy the farm and then built the factory? It seems we can do both.
I have experienced something similar, but is shows a Drengin heavy fighter on a planet I conquered from the Drath..
I conquered a planet from the Drath Legion. On the main screen I can't have access to the planet (it shows "stacked ships "display), every ship I sent there are no more available and it shows a Drengin heavy fighter?? next a little pic of the planet.
We are not going to be intimidated by theses fanatics, if they want a war we will give'em some!
Its in latin
after that you could help us with the carriers/hangars. Yep, carriers is something missing right now, however great game
I will definitively be a buyer for a MoM2 which is a true successor of the orignal game. I don't know why Developers don't jump on the opportunity to make a game which have already a vast fanbase
There is only two companies that have the expertise to make a MoM2 : Firaxis and Stardock. In my opinion, GalCIV2 is superior to Civ IV, so my preference is for Stardock

Don't want to be rude but I think this guy is something close as to be pathetic
