There simply are enough of us to spare as canon fodder. Typo alarm. I'm quite sure that should read: There simply are not enough of us to spare as canon fodder.
Typo alarm, again. There simply are not enough of us to spare as cannon fodder.

It doesn't matter how innocent it was, it doesn't matter how funny it was. The subject of the topic was not of GalCiv2 or any GalCiv games and it's clearly a Off-Topic thread, so it's position in the forum has been corrected. If people want a good chucle they can go over to the Off-Topic forum.

Meh, I have a 6800XT, which is just a glofied 6800GS, and it wasn't much of a upgrade from my olde 9800Pro other then now I can do HDR...

6800 maybe be a good card for the price, but a 6800GS is not as good as a 6800, and a 6800GT would be even better. Heck, I say get that new AGP version of the 7600GS. It'll cost around $120-160 if you get it from NewEgg.com. Make sure it's AGP slot, NOT PCI-E slot, and make sure you HAVE a AGP slot to begin with! If you have a AGP slot, do yourself some good and don't get a (nVidia)5200, (nVidia)6200, (ATi)9250, (ATi)9000, (ATi)X300, or (ATi)X1300 of any type because they are budget car

My computer has been put togeather though out the ages, always being upgraded and have parts swapped... currently it's a P4 2.8Ghz HT, 1GB DDR RAM, 200GB HD, Soundblaster Live!, and 6800XT 256MB system. It can play the likes of Half Life 2 and Quake 4 pretty good.

I would pay for World of Starcraft, but I doubt they'll ever do it. I don't really want Starcraft 2 tho, what I really want is Supreme Commander, because (In my Opinnion) all RTS's before and after it will have to bow to SupCom.

Yeah wha a bastard Bush is, I mean come on, he goes to war because he feels like it, treats the common man like crap, doesn't even LISTEN to anyone accept his closest friends, and generally he just hates everyone and we have to remember, it was HIM to called Katrina down on heaven because he when to New Orleans one time and didn't like the dinner he had there. Yes, Bush is definetly the next Hilter, Satlin, and will put all of freedoms in salvery. I don't think that, but I betcha 90% of

AMD Sempron is like AMD's Celerons, but AMD Semprons are better then Celerons. But suffice to say, both of them suck.

My thoughts exactly Lord Nova, with that much I could get a new mobo, a new CPU, and a new videocard, which would easily make my system 5-10x better. I myself am going to get a Wii, I don't know if I will ever get a Xbox360, maybe when I move out of my home or summat.

-.-' Gallagher you are taking it to the extreme. It doesn't really change the diffuculty level, it's just gives the AI more time to think on Ship Designs and other things, so it's still balanced. And if you think 52 turns is retardly slow, turn it on. (PLEASE note that he said WITHOUT it on is 52 turns, WITH it on, it's less)

The EULA (IIRC) states that you can have GalCiv2 on as many mechines you want as long as they are only used one at a time, and all not at the same time. And what you state it within those.

I do not know why Vista will make a distintion of the C:\Program Files folder, you can EASILY just install your games/programs under a different folder to bypass all of it. What is the point of making C:\Program Files non-writable-too without permission?

He means, when it is in orbit of a planet, it has all it's defenses set to 1-1-1, REGARDLESS of what defenses he has on it. So if it's normally 50-25-30, in orbit it'll be 1-1-1, but when it's in space it'll go back to normal. Am I correct chriskrusz?
