I think moo2 and galciv2 have a lot in common, which I don't think is a bad thing. I think adding leaders would be a good idea, it would add a bit more variation to the game Well, Infogrames and Quicksilver dropped the ball on that one, so SOMEONE had to show 'em how to do it right.

I only say this is unconfirmed because I have no idea what caused this to happen, but I've always set battles to Full (because I like to see stuff flying around and blowing up). That being said, at some point in my game (perhaps I touched a hotkey), battles started taking place on the map instead of the battle screen. I checked my options again and saw that nothing had changed and I even tried a few turns with the settings to normal, and then placing

The first one (three prongs in the front) is fine, but the second and third have some odd hardpoint problems. Maybe I'm missing it, but I thought the trade tree unlocked the trade module for ships. The only thing is that I skipped Trade and bartered for Advanced Trade. No trade module available. Is it further down the tree or something?
