No, the problem is that the AI's only design new ships ONCE a year, so if you bull rush them early, all you have to fight is defender class ships. One year between ship upgrades may be sufficient for mid to late game, but early, on a small map, it makes even high difficulty levels easier. I believe this is supposed be changed in 1.2, so that the AI design sh

Awesome Work yet again Spleeze. ......i still like the Wells Class ship in alterans list ...but i'm a dreamer..... As for "making" up a ship? i'd be down for that idea as long as it looked like a Federation ship (a little bit) atleast.
Lol, i live in IOWA and everytime a Wal-Mart is on the list to be built, there's always a big thing about it....Iowa is filled with small mom and pop shops that get mauled by Wal-Mart....Forget Somalia, for the most part Wal-Mart eats up all the little guys just about everywhere it's put.....
Wal-Mart reminds me of the Empire......Offering everyday low prices, offering jobs to those that would be otherwise jobless...i hate those rebels..... I didn't even know you COULD pirate it that easy until sometime after i bought it .....
Looking good as always.....
Yeah, it's the common thought that putting the Campaign on a higher difficulty is better, since your Allies will actually help....and to rush to dreadlords with Troops.....
Lol AdmiralZ, i get it. Like, the Vapor from them center is a exhaust fan, blowing unusable engine stuff into space .....or maybe it's the sewage pumps? People gotta poop...
Holy Jeebus, you're pumping these things out like Crazy
2.53Ghz P4 Radeon x850 256mb
As did i.....and i hope we see something soon....also how can we get your email address....i wouldn't mind helping out if you don't already have enough people...
You. Are. A. GOD! Seriously tho, like i've said everytime i see one of these Posts from ya, it makes me more and more anxious.... ....I'd say hurry your ass up, but you can't rush something as cool as this...
You can see the sort of scale of the tiny and small hulls because you can see the cockpits. They really aren't that big. Cockpit OR a really small observation deck?
My trick is to pretend the Ai is smarter then it is =P...that way when it goes all crazy on me, i'm ready for it....Plus i misdirect it as far as weapons go, beef up my first generation ships with Mass Drivers (your choice)....then continue to research a different weapon type all the way up the latter......it's real handy when they adapt to your Mass drivers and you whip out a few Disrupters
I use it in games harder then Crippling.....i figure with the AI's bonuses it's a small slice of the Cheat Pie
Actually i like the idea of having a ship module (sorta like construction mod) that gives it a bonus to it's (and only it's) own Logistics......and even then, ONLY to Tiny-Small ships..... Who knows? i for one like that idea better then being able to "Fit" tiny ships into a bigger ship. Maybe not even have it at a set value so much. More like having it a % boost to what you've researched in Logistics so far.....
As always Iztok makes a great point =P.... Being able to build more then one 4 bases in a single Sector is a great example of this. I also thing Diplomacy and the path of "good" helps too.....You may think it's cheesy, but if you playing a game with a lot of Good races...then pick good when you research Ethics....Alternatly if they're all evil, pick evil....Neutral is good i guess, but only do it if you plan on trading with EVERYONE and for the most part staying out of other species b
Now, i didn't read the whole Topic, but i don't think "Boarders" are a very practical thing in space....But what i WOULD like to see, that follows the same path, is the ability to tell the AI to Pack up or face some ass kicking...Nothing pisses me off more then seeing a "Close" AI building Influence Bases around my planets, or having Giant War fleets on my doorstep....and the only way to counter it is to declare war on them. In short, i want the option to issue an ultimatum to get the
p.s. Does anyone actually trade the trade-goods. I NEVER do. To me it is a no-brainer, yet if I miss out on one the AI will give you those all important gravity accelorators (or whatever they have) for next to nothing. I do!! Think about it, your going for a win, but suddenly, the strongest Military race declares war on you and your all
....Since when is there a Certain number requirment for a fleet?...... It's been my understanding that a FLEET just needs to be more then one ship.... That'd be like saying a Flock of Birds isn't a Flock UNLESS it has 20 or more birds.....What if it's only 19 birds? is it just...."19 Birds that happen to be flying in the same spot towards the same destination?" I don't see a Number requirment here, do you? <a href="http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=Fl
Can't your upgrade them to Troop Transports off planet too? I'm pretty sure you can, and they'll keep the same amount of Colonists... Lol, just saw the above post
yeah i agree with with Iztok there, i usually make maybe one or two Labs for my starter planets (cuz i usually spend more on research then military...that way, i still produce ships, and stay ahead of the Tech Game....
I dunno guys, The Universe is a big place (the real universe) who's to say there's not atleast ONE Green or Purple star out there?....Unless your God.... Hell, who knows? Maybe there's a Magenta or Fusia colored star somewhere....
Oh cool, i was starting to wonder if it sent it =P....my Emails been kinda janky, i'm glad you got it tho.
this is a little off topic (just a little) But what the hell is that Racial Victory Medal Uru? From looking at your game history i would *ASSUME* it was that you won with all the races?
Not to Mention that they could be practicing on their precision.. "Hey i bet you can't make a shot through that porthole." "How much?" "$20" "Ok" ***Your Marksmen Skill goes up*** "Pay Up" That sorta thing.....
