Why would you ever launch a transport with less than the max number of troops loaded? Easy, Say you have a MASSIVE Soldier bonus. You have a Transport with say, 3 Advanced Pods on it, well, your not going to send 3000 troops to a planet with only 1500.....hell, 500 troops should be enough.

well, your in luck, i happen to think i'm bad ass at economy. 1) Economy Race Bonus 2) Moral Race Bonus and there you have it....keep those 2 things high (Second choice or higher). I'll give you a run down of what *I* do when i start a new game, Economy wise. First i jump my spending to 100% and raise my Tax as high as it'll go without dipping under 50% Approval. Then i put Research up to 50% Military to 15-20% (depending on a few things) and Social to 30-3

As far as i'm Conerned Infl Resources is the ONLY resource that needs to be toned down...Simply because you can win the game flat out with anymore then 2 of them...Where as the others just give you an edge, Influence Bases can make you win outright. So, yeah...i say keep the others the same and nuke Influence ones.

Oddly enough, i read things all the time about people that hit Advanced earlier in the game and never get a stolen tech. Maybe there's a bug that isn't as obvious as others. I turn off spending after hitting advanced and still steal techs but i usually don't even remember i have spies till a year or so in anyway.... So i dunno, maybe it has something to do with hitting advanced too early? possible?

You know, while reading this thread, i suddenly noticed something about my games. I've never once gone to war WHILE in an alliance. Like, i've HELPED Allies in War....but i don't think Someone as EVER delcared war on me while i was Allied...Man....Is the AI any good when fighting alongside the Player? The only time i've ever interacted with the AI on any militaristic sense, is usually with them infront of the barrel. Hmmm...Might have to try this out.<

Is it possible for the player to get this event? I've never seen it...but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
