Thought to start bit discussion about the latests version. It seems really solid and I have not discovered any glaring bugs. Sure the turn button does not turn green but thats hardly a game stopper. What I would like to bring up are couple things that have really started to catch my eye, during the development of this game. 1. Many times mentioned, but the Auto Exploring feature is bad. I built 3 scouts in my first 1.3 game and set em on auto explore. What do they do? All thre

I thought this was issue in previous betas only. Back then using Regional Setting other than English United States in your OS caused this to happen. I had it in 1.3b1 but not after that.

Does this happen in other games too mikeswi? If not ignore the text below. That kinda corruption is almost 90% of the time related to 3D card overheating. If you got Nvidia 7900 card I suggest you run 3Dmark2006 several times and see if your card bites the dust. Artifacts with those cards have been common.

I reported a weird bug with 1.3 beta 3X about fleet selection and CodeCritter promised to look into it. My only remaining wish for 1.3 final is that you fix the rally point bug. The one which spams debug.err with messages like this: Debug Message: A* Path too long to calculate (63.702435). Aborting Having to baby sit your ships to assigned rally points is exhausting. Found another bug in the latests beta patch. Instructions to reproduce the problem: In the save game I have 2 fleets each having 3 ships. The lower (near military SB) is selected but when you try to select the other fleet on northern border of cultural zone, the screen jumps back. In essence I cannot select the nothern fleet anymore. I got a very weird issue yesterday while I was gaming. Suddently the game got really slow and stuttered badly. After quitting the game and reloading everything worked fine once again. Hello Just found a hard crash bug with latest beta. I have reproduced this crash with Regional Settings English (united states) and Finnish. I have sended this one to [email protected] aswell. Instructions: Load up the quicksave.sav game and move to the upper left corner on on map. You have two fleets there both have 3 ships. Select the lower fleet and remove the ship from the fleet which does not have full HP. Doing this freezes the screen for me totally.

I think the bonus nerfing is good. In way too many games (after middle game) its too easy to keep high tax rate and having jolly happy people. Haven´t yet tested this, but anything to make middle game more intresting is welcome. Last patch was released 8.8 so I hope SD had time to test these new balance tweaks. All in all a good beta patch, thanks SD! Iam off testing

There are several different AMD Athlons around. Quite old is AMD Athlon XP which uses Socket A, basicly you cannot get these from local store anymore.
