The Watcher
Not sure what you fully desire by an optimal tileset but you can restart the game at any point by pressing CTRL + R to generate a new map.
Yup a completely stupid oversight by the devs. How hard would it be to have it showe up in the UI during the galactic council meetings? Please give us some reason to bother with it guys.... [e digicons][/e]
2 Mods added for me. Only logos so not much to look into to clear. Many thanks
I hate you! (NOT) [e digicons]*_*[/e] Strange question though...
[e digicons][/e] Nice read
What is this game about may i ask as i have never heard of it up until this thread.
Maybe your answer to the problem would work with alcohol abuse too? I'm sick of walking down the streets on a monday and seeing the results of a heavy weekend of drunk youths all over the sidewalk. So we should try the same with them too eh? Lets make alcohol more addictive and increase the strength and maybe all alcoholics will die out in the next decade too! Hell it would reduce the strain on the hospitals as well.. Nice idea you have there, i wonder what else you can cure with that
If it makes it easier in the game you can press the number buttons starting with '1' and ending with '6' ( i believe) to change the display on the screen. i tend to stick to '3' as it gives the best rendition of the ship s in the game. Hope we helped a bit. [e digicons][/e]
Yes. Large edition only though as far as i know. I got it a few weeks ago.
LOL i searched for ages for images from the series and found none. Hence the name and empire name contain only the cover image. Good luck in your quest for mod images though [e digicons][/e]
Once you have initially downloaded the game you can backup the install files to your machine or a external media. If you then need to re-install the game later on you can just use the backup you created.
Never come accross that one yet. Sounds like it could be fun!
Yes you can use the printscreen button. The images taken in the game should go to your 'my docs/my games/gc2' folder if you are using xp or 'C:\Users\(your name)\Documents\My Games\GC2TwilightArnor' in Vista. You need to press CTRL + PrtSC to take the screenshot.
Just uncheck the "save designs to HD" option. Then your designs will only exist in the game they were created in.
A very handy addition for people like yourself who dont like having their updated designs saved from game to game. Which version are you running as this was supposed to have been fixed in the latest update? Not had it for a long time now so i cannot say for certain that this was the case but i do remember reading it someplace.
We are hoping that in 2.0 we get to see our own race image in the game even if it is only in the race vosting screen. [e digicons]:P[/e]
Most of these replies made me laugh so much i had to run to the toilet [e digicons]5*[/e]
Looking forward to the next decade then [e digicons][/e] My god i will be nearly 40 when it comes out [e digicons]8C[/e] On a high note i am looking forward to 2.0 and hoping it gives us loads of new content for free LOL. Thanks Frogboyfor the freebie update in all seriousness.
Its ok for me but has been on and off today. Appears to maybe have been an update. [e digicons]:cylon:[/e]
71. When you get home from work you see that: -your wife looks like a Drengin and yells at you a lot -your kids are brats and hate you like the Snathi -and you are broke like a Yor bank account Then you realize you accidently turned mods off!
LMAO But soo true!
Thank you for the tips. I have a lot of learning to do i guess :D
As spoken by others (many in these forums i would think) "Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds." Just had to say that as i have just posted my first military victory, and my first Metaverse score :D Great game and a really enjoyable four year game with no real suprises, even though i had the random events thing on. I think the main reason i was able to win with out any apparent problems may have been down to a good base economy and being able to stay ahead technically th
Thanks for the heads-up BoogieBac :) Always good to know you guys are still out there.
