It's kinda stupid though, you should be able to reset the races from the ingame interface Rest assured, the dev crew is more than likely to feel the same way. Look for that functionality to be added in a patch soon.
Super Projects do NOT get a bonus from bonus tiles.
Diplomacy in a sandbox game has no bearing on the backstory for Galactic Civilizations... Perhaps it should... but the whole point of the sandbox games are for you to create your *own* stories... hehe.

You can get info about them. But that's not destabilization. That is espionage.
That is why they are "non-optimal" defenses. You will be severely punished for not keeping an eye on your enemies weapons systems, so as to research the appropiate defenses and build fleets that can deal with them properly.
Unless I set out to be 100% pure evil, I typically stick with the good choices... that is unless a super bonus pops up, like 20-40+% PQ, +starship, etc... (they're just too good (err, heh) to pass up)

It's not missing. Build an Economy starbase. All those production boosting modules will be available once you research the appropiate techs. The graphic that surrounds a planet when you click on it.... is not big enough for some planets. It's barely suitable for Jupiter sized planets, but anything bigger than that and you cant see it... Also, when zoomed out into strategic mode, there needs to be an alternative method to showing which planets you have selected, you just cant see the current graphic well enough.
