Well, I find that saving designs is most useful for initial scouts (cargo hulls with lots of engines), initial colonizers (cargo hulls with a colony pod and lots of engines), and initial constructors (cargo hulls with 1 construction module and... can you guess? Lots of engines!). I also find its helpful to name ships what they are (that is, to name a ship "Imp3 Sting2 Min1". It makes for a bit of clutter, but if I keep my playstyle consistent, its not so bad. For races li

I can't believe you didn't even MENTION Gundam. Shame on you. SHAME.
Put down the crack pipe and head to the nearest rehab facility.
Ahh so they consider themselves heirs to the ARNOR. Well that still doesn't explain the lucky Torians and their history of enslavement .
Sorry kid, but I cannot publically condone piracy.. err wait, I mean I NEVER EVER condone piracy, and certainly never, EVER practice it. Really Anyways, I called the FBI, and they're on their way to your house right now.
Given how often resources = victory, it seems silly for them to give up resources. Most of my games before 1.1 ended very rapidly once I reached the point where I could start buying up influence resource starbases.
You just need to keep clicking no a very large number of times. It will eventually stop.
You mean Hyper Computers? You get them when you research Aeron Missile Defense.
Yes, EVERYONE is. All those jackasses that are saying "no" to multiplayer are in fact the same person, who bitterly opposes anything and everything that is good in this world. He kicks puppies and pees on the floors of public restrooms. He is an evil, evil man.
I downloaded the game and I didn't have to activate anything via email. Are you sure you aren't on the wrong game forum? Maybe you want the Halflife 2 boards ?
+ Iconians are now good (were neutral). How can you explain this in light of the "consider themselves heirs to the Dread Lords" flavor text ? And what about creating the Yor? + Torian luck increased to 10 If they're so lucky, how come they got invaded and enslaved by the Drengin ?<
Are they gonna be right-to-left ?
CivGal2? Stars?
The attacker gets in the first volley, which is an enormous advantage.
Or Corporation Created Governments. Diebold anyone? Halliburton?
My mistake, speed boosting upgrades are still in there.
Yeah, I can see them being most useful with swarms of smaller ships, since the bonus is applied per ship. Too bad they took out the speed boosting starbase upgrades from galciv1... fighters are waaaaay too slow for an effective offense.
Misin: How on earth did you get a setup like that?
The thing is, though, if you simply use the time you spent making those constructors to make warships instead, you can create a fleet which will both deter your opponent from attacking in the first place, and allow you to strike at your enemies.
Occasionally I get this, but for me, it only ever happens in the middle of a game, and restarting Galciv2 fixes it. Wierd.
Ok, if you guys arent going to respond, can you at least vote "yes" in the poll? Even if you are a soulless, evil mulitplayer hater.
Can it really be cost efficient to make multiple constructors for every single star system you want to attack? Likewise, can it really be worth it to make multiple constructors for every single star system you want to defend?| Why not just make ships instead? That way, you won't end up with things that are either: A: Useless when and if you go on the attack (in the case of defensive starbases) or B: Useless
Ya, the libraries are much rarer than the mines- in fact, I cannot recall ever getting a library since I started using the beta patches.
While we're at it, how about lowering the point cost for the ability, or giving it a little something extra- right now, the point investment is ridiculously high.
No, make the next poll: Do you want multiplayer? A: Yes B: Yes C: Absolutely.
