Question: What happened to Sensors 1?

There is no "Sensors 1" tech. The first "Sensors" tech we see is Sensors II.

ALSO...

The naming of tech advances is not consistent. Some are labelled with Roman numerals (Sensors II) and others with regular numbers (Sensors 3). This requires some cleanup.

The first Sensors module you get for your ships is called "Sensors mk III", although there is no mark 1 or 2.

QUESTION: Are sensors supposed to also act as a Star Scanner? That is, does a ship with sensors act as a Survey Ship? I don't think this was the case in Beta 2, but that may have changed.
